Setback for Fabril as they lost against a direct rival. Both sides had clear chances to score, but Depor’s lost the game and also the chance to reach the playoff zone.

Once again coach Luisito was missing Mujaid Sadick, who was playing with the first team at Albacete. Striker Mario Losada was recovered from his injury, but the coach opted in repeating the lineup, so Jawed Boumeddane was the centre forward.

Painful defeat for Fabril. It not only hurts to lose the game against a direct rival, but also because Fabril did enough to pick up a point and even a victory from this game, but the lads failed their opportunities, while the locals seized an error to win the meeting.

The game started with Fabril pushing hard in attack, but t the same time they were finding a defensive line that at times was composed by five men. Ourense CF had the first opportunity to score through Zanelli, who missed the target heading a corner-kick (18’).

Fabril were starting to have arrivals when the locals found the lonely goal in the game. It was an error in the output of the ball. Cassio De Goes stole the ball at midfield after a clearance by Álex Cobo, then he assisted Pibe, who scored with a low shot past Fabril’s goalie.

The visiting side was affected by the goal and reduced the pace, and Ourense CF almost scored again through a strong shot by Cassio De Goes saved by Álex Cobo (32’). Fabril could have scored the equalizer before the break, but Aarón Sánchez didn’t arrive in time before local goalie Cristian Parra (42’).

Fabril improved a lot in the second half, mainly as Luisito was making the changes. Mario Losada reappeared and the local defence had problems to contain his game. Aarón Sánchez had a new chance to score and Parra made the save again (53’).

Then Víctor Eimil replaced Aarón and he had two clear chances to score, the biggest one firing from close range when the keeper was already defeated as failed to clear a cross from the left, and the goal was miraculously saved because the ball hit the back of a defender (61’).

Pedro Correia entered for the final fifteen minutes and added more pressure in attack, but Fabril didn’t create more goal opportunities, and even ended the game with ten men after Martí Vilà was sent out with two yellow cards.
