The second week of the pre-season ended without major injuries. Mujaid is recovered and the new signings should come on next week.

Deportivo ended the second week of the pre-season 2020/21, since the team is aware that it will compete at Segunda B, the coaching staff changed the plans and is now focusing the work in physical sessions in which the players complete exercises with and without the ball on the pitch.

The change of plans was made because the league is starting until October, and also because more exits and signings are expected, so coach Fernando Vázquez will work with tactics until the squad is more or less completed.

The big news on the week is that Mujaid Sadick is back, the centre-back faced muscle problems on last week, and by Monday he was already working with the team. The rest of the squad is healthy and ready to work on the pitch.

But there are three players that have been working apart during the week that has just ended: Uche Agbo, Gerard Valentín and Fede Cartabia. The Nigerian midfielder is negotiating his possible continuity, while the other two could leave and that’s why they were separated from the rest. Also, Álvaro Queijeiro is working with the team and could stay if he convinces the coach. Finally, the signings, at least the first two, should join the team on this week.
