The third week on the pre-season came with novelties, the first signings joined the group and coach Fernando Vázquez, with one month left to start the competition, decided it was the right time to change the dynamic of the training sessions.

In the previous two weeks, the training sessions consisted of physical exercises and some routines with the ball, but since this week the team has been emphasizing the tactical work. The coach worked the transitions defense-attack, short distance passes and started to work with a 4-4-2 draw.

This formation was the one used in the first friendly of the pre-season, a 1-0 victory over Fabril held at Abegondo on Friday. The lineup of Depor in that game was composed by: Carlos Abad - Bóveda, Somma, Borja Granero, Salva Ruiz - Keko, Álex Bergantiños, Sanmartín, Galán – Beauvue, Adrián Castro. The goal was scored by Adrián Castro.

The arrivals of Borja Granero, Carlos Abad and Lucho García left the number of players training with the team in 20. The other three signings made so far, Celso Borges, José Alonso Lara and Héctor Hernández, will join the trainings on next week.

There are no major injury problems reported on the week, only b>Vicente Gómez, who ended Friday’s session with a muscle problem. Gerard Valentín and Fede Cartabia have skipped the sessions all week long as they are expecting to leave the club. Then Uche Agbo has also skipped the sessions as he is negotiating his continuity.
