Fernando Vázquez is practically recovering all the defenders. Osede remains out, while Valin will be assessed on Saturday.

Deportivo return into competition this Sunday with the visit to CD Guijuelo (Municipal Luis Ramos, 17h00 CET). And as it was expected, coach Fernando Vázquez is recovering players after last week only one of his seven defenders worked with the team.

The only defender that will remain out is Derik Osede, the centre-back is recovering from an Achilles injury and should return in December. Meanwhile, side defenders Eneko Bóveda and Salva Ruiz are finally recovered from their groin injuries and are available.

Left-back Héctor Hernández and centre-back Borja Granero were rested last week due to muscle issues, but they are working with the group since Tuesday. Even right-back Jorge Valin might be available for Sunday. He suffered an ankle sprain on las week and will be assessed tomorrow.

Goalkeeper Lucho García is also available. He skipped the last three training sessions of last week due to an elbow problem, but by Tuesday he was already fine. Finally, Celso Borges arrived from international action on Wednesday, he played a full game with Qatar and 83 minutes against the Basque Country, but is fresh  and available, he passed the COVID tests and joined the team on Thursday.

In the end Osede will be the only casualty at the first team ahead of the game with CD Guijuelo. But Vázquez will be unable to pick the two outfield players from Fabril with more participation during the training sessions: Juan Rodriguez and Adri Castro. The centre-back picked a muscle injury training with Fabril and already missed one game at Tercera, while the striker was in contact with a positive case detected at SD Silva and will be isolated for one week, so the duo will be unavailable for the weekend.

CD Guijuelo are not living a good moment, in their last league game they were trashed 3-0 at SD Compostela, and during the break they were beaten 4-1 by CD Badajoz in a friendly match. Jacobo Montes is the coach hired for this season after been fired from Celta B, his brother Marcos Montes is his assistant.

The coach is having problems in attack, strikers Manu Molina and Dan Ojog are already ruled out of the meeting due to injury reasons, while Lolo Plá, one of their main signings during the summer, is doubtful with a muscle problem. Meanwhile, Romanian left-back Răzvan Ochiroșii is also doubtful after picking a knock in the friendly against CD Badajoz.
