Despite the summer market has closed its doors, the two Uruguayans at Deportivo, Gustavo Mun??a and Sebasti??n Taborda, are currently searching for an exit. Taborda seems to be ready to suit the club while he could have an offer from Russia. Mun??a was targeted by Nacional, but it seems he doesn’t want to return to Uruguay.

Xisco was sold to Newcastle because his agent menaced to not accept a renovation in his contract, then Lendoiro decided to accept an offer that was good for the club and also for the player. Depor is collecting €8 million in the operation. Meanwhile Colotto is arriving to Deportivo thanks to the pressure he put over Atlas. This move is costing €2.5 million to Deportivo.

Diego Colotto and Xisco were the main novelties during the last day of the market. The Argentinean central defender was the last official signing of the Spanish summer window, while Xisco was sold in the last second to Newcastle United. Both operations were the last ones accepted in Spain and England. Another novelty was the exit of Jairo to Lorca. Meanwhile Taborda, Bodipo, Manu, Aouate and Munua are staying at Depor.

The transfer window closes its doors on Monday –the period was extended in one day- and Deportivo, like almost all the clubs in Spain, is trying to hurry up the negotiations, especially the exits. Aouate, Mun??a, Manu, Taborda, Bodipo and Jairo are still waiting for novelties while Rodri is already in Portugal in order to join Maritimo. Meanwhile it seems that Depor still interested in Diego Colotto.

Despite that Pablo Amo will probably continue for the season 2008/2009, it seems that coach Lotina is requesting a final effort in order to face the new campaign: a central defender. The three candidates were Diego Colotto, Carlos Matheus and Athar Yahia. This last one was already discarded.

It’s almost certain that Deportivo won’t fulfill any new incorporation during the summer market, the fact that Pablo Amo is staying is almost confirmed and that’s why Lotina won’t need any new signing. For the moment the club is more interesting in finding a place for the seven players that don’t count: Aouate, Mun??a, Bodipo, Taborda, Jairo, Rodri and Manu. Lendoiro has five days to close their exits.
