MENTIONS IN THE MEDIA

RCDLC.com is a meeting point for Depor fans by Depor fans around the globe. Spanish media has traditionally found newsworthy our approach to football and the activities organised by our community. In the last years, RCDLC.com and its Peña and forum members have appeared in newspapers, radio, other websites and even TV programmes.

RCDLC.com is a great source of stories related to Deportivo with an international angle. Forums are a good prove of it. On top of that, the Site Team and the Peña secretary publishes press releases. Since RCDLC.com is the largest online database We can also provide valuable background information on the club, games and fan community.

The "Bravehearts" of Depor

This is the case of our good friend Martin Murray who is a collector of Depor's shirts through his website depor.shirts.com. The article was writing by Galician Sportpaper Deporte Campeón (DxT) and relates the journey of Martin and other two usual visitors to our site, Miles Nightingale (Diligent) and Scott Collins (Crocodile_Dundee), during the liga match at Racing Santander.  DxT emphasizes the fact that the three of them are coming from Scotland, reason why they are called "the Bravehearts" of Depor.

Deportivo a passion without frontiers

Another case of singular passion Deportivista is that of Brian Andersen, a subject of Queen Margarita II who travelled 150 Km in train to enjoy with Valeron, Sergio and Riki. The difference with the others is that his love for Depor is a little older and he has even infected his beautiful wife,Louise Andersen, who says that although football is not a priority, she goes with her husband because she is happy to see him have fun with Depor. The Andersen couple live in Odense, one of the best known cities in Denmark and the third biggest in the kingdom. When they found out via internet about the games they didn't doubt in getting the train to see both games."I have followed Depor since 1994.That is to say I have seen them win all the major titles.I like football a lot and my favourite players are Valeron,Coloccini and Riki.I also like Sergio and I use to really like Pandiani when he was with us.The shirt I bought via internet from the Deportienda on-line.I read every day the news on Depor and Deporsport via the official website"

"Depor is a great global community"
March 2006, DeporSport, Spain

This was an interview with our forum member aldoduscher (Adil Al-Modayan) regarding the creation his German deportivo website.

The fifth question is: Do you keep contact with other Depor fans worldwide? He answers: We maintain very good relations with International Peña deportivo-la-coruna.com. They have a large list of members from everywhere in the world, which shows, how Depor is a great global community nowadays. The underlined part is the title of the article!
(they actually translate the name of the peña to "Peña Internacional", that is the name of a already existing one and not our name )
