I watched local side Southampton play today in the Championship and they really were a pile of pants in the first half. Things got much better in the second half and they played pretty well, scoring 2 great goals but they conceded a very late equaliser to Paul Peschisolido.

I like the look of Derby's Spaniard Idiakez; does anyone know where he is from?

Spain...

Dejan84: Milan Burgic started his first home game today and according to Svenskafans.se he made a good debut in Råsunda. No score or assist though, substituted in the 67th min.

Edit: AIK has 5 games in a row without defeat (W W W Dr W) and is 4 points behind leaders Hammarby in 2nd place with half of the season played (13 games).

Idiakez has always looked to good to be playing for Derby or in the Championship IMHO.
I think he played with Xavi Alonso in Real sociedad youth teams ??

No idea, is that Alonso bloke any good?

The mighty Gretna take their european bow tonight when they take on Derry City of Ireland. It would be amazing if they manage to make any sort of impact considering they are from the second teir of Scottish football but they have an ambitious chairman and the future looks bright for them.

Gretna lost 5-1  They scored the leading goal in 12th minute, but Derry City turned the things around...

the striker i was talking about Birsa, just scored his first goal for Sochaux, in his second game. And yes he is just 20 years old, and scored in the french league coming form the slovenian championship which is very very poor

Rangers will win the uefa cup;) because under the guidance of Le Guen they are playing superb free flowing football, not that you'd know what that is as you have to watch Belgian football every week.:D

Uefa Cup :hihihi: At least Celtic made the CL ;) And you should hope you don't have to play SV Waregem, cause that would be a trashing for sure :D

Belgium's national team lost 3-1 to the national reserve team, and our coach said afterwards: "we have a problem".

:mistake:
