I know Maniche is a midfielder but where does he play and whose place is he likely to take of our current squad?

He looked like a pretty good player last year but I can't remember if he played in the centre as an Attacking midfielder or if he played on the right.

Well, if he plays for Depor as he played for Portugal today, then it's better for him to stay there.
But he played great in the CL, so he's welcome afterall.

actually I think that Maniche can play in the folowings players place: Mauro Silva; Sergio; Luque; Victor and Valeron.

Jabo indeed can use thi versatile player....

btw. Maniche is named after the old and tall danish striker that was used to rule in Benfica: Michael Maniche. So perhaps he should be pronounced a different way: Ma-ni-que with the preasure laying on Ma and que.

Maniche? Maybe, for 3 million euros or so it would be useful if he agrees on a low contract.

For once in football money might not be the no.1 priority. His agent has stated that it is very important for Maniche to be close to his family in Oporto and the proximity of Coruña is a key factor.
