Play - 45 games, already included 8 games last season and latest game vs. Villareal
Win - 9 (20%)
Draw - 23 (51.11%)
Lose - 13 (28.89%)
Goal scored - 55
Goal condeded - 72
Goal different - (-17)
Point acquired - 50 (from 9 x 3 = 27 + 23) from total 135 points (45 x 3) and that is 37.04 %

sorry to say but all these stats a far from impressive....

better some of the draws are wins and other to be loses rather to have all these tasteless draws....

many things are wrong in the team and Victor is very stubborn to keep them...

plus from 2016 he obviously is not able to motivate enough the players

i think it's funny that 1 win in 15 games (or whatever the number) is good enough for most of you.
Yes the beginning was very promising, and then the abyss. It's same players. Sidnie wasn't half a year away; Lucas played almost everything. Tired? Is Suarez tired? Is CR tired? Are the others tired that play each week? Maybe something wrong with our training? Motivation? Biggest issue for half a season. No bench? Leicester? And so on. Victor isn't bad, but he's too green. We are Depor, not a charity.

Good debate guys keep it going!

My opinion is that Victor should stay. As many of you mentioned, the lack of quality players on the bench hurt the team's performance. Here the state of the roster, and what I think should be done for next season:

Manuel Pablo García: Should retire
Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’: Keep
Juanfran Moreno: Buy or loan again
Fernando Navarro: Keep
Luisinho Correia: Keep (if he fixes his problem with Victor, if not, sell)
Alberto Lopo: DO NOT RENEW, replace with a quality central defender already playing in Liga
Sidnei Rechel: KEEP
Alejandro Arribas: Keep

Álex Bergantiños: Keep
Juan Domínguez: Loan out or sell. Replace with someone like Danillo from Valencia
Pedro Mosquera: Keep
Celso Borges: Keep
Fede Cartabia: Should be bought or renewed
Fayçal Fajr: Buy
Rubén Gracia ‘Cani’: Let go, replace with Bruno Gama
Jonás Gutiérrez: Let go, replace with someone like Bruma from Sociedad

Lucas Pérez: Increase his salary and renew him
Luis Alberto: Get another one year loan
Jona: Get someone like Bakambu from villareal
Oriol Riera: Keep

Talking strictly of numbers, stat says 50 points at 45 games. Make the calculation, this is 42,2 pts per season, which means permanence.
Minimum, but enough

He has done what no other coach has done. 1 Save us from relegation while in a tight position. 2. Keep us in primera the next season.

He compared to our last 3-4 coachs has had a worse team overall and magically gave us one of our greatest starts to a season even though it went downhill from there. He never promised more then keeping us in La Liga which he did.

It makes no sense to sack someone who completed the agreement set in place. No one was expecting him to get us in to any europe classifications.

There are so many pros and cons about his continuity.
Pros:
1. He fulfilled season goals.
2. He has a contract ahead the next season. And we must pay him while sacking. And I'm sure that in his contract hasn't specified any number of victories during the season.
3. We can't be sure that next coach will be better. Paco almost went down with Rayo, is he better than Victor? Maybe Sergio, but it's a risk to enter at the same situation with FV and VF. FV was not good, but VF was terrible.
4. Some players support Victor. As Mosquera, Lucas. No one of the first team hadn't made any blames on the coach.

Cons:
1. He failed a whole 2016 with the same players and we have no guarantee that he wouldn't continue it at the next season.
2, Some players obviously lowered their performance and Victor couldn't motivate them. Their level we only had seen at the critical moment vs Villareal.
3. Changing room environment is far from good, at it's not only Luisinho.
4. Rumors that the players won't see his continuity. It is a very important thing. If it's true, than it's much cheaper to change a coach rather than a full squad.

So there are so many factors and without knowing too much what is happened at the team in 2016, I can't decide if I want to see him staying. I will be happy if he will stay and the team will play the same game of end of 2015, but I can only hope that Tino will make a right decision based on the full vision of problem.

YES

... but only if there is no hidden conflict between him and the players.

Honestly I believe that the bad atmosphere in the changing room was the main reason of our poor results in 2016, but of course I have no idea whose fault it is. Anyway I hope that the club can resolve it as soon as possible.

My heart says keep him but my head has several alarm bells ringing and I'd rather change coach with the new guy having a whole pre season and starting from scratch, rather than suddenly replacing him because the squad continued with their 2016 form and now a big chunk of the season has gone by.

More than anything, I would just like to know what has called the unrest in the squad. It's hard to imagine that Victor has no part in that but it's also not fair to the point the finger without knowing the facts.

Yes!
Despite the horrible ending of the season i think the way we play is better than in a lot of years with other coaches. We got some great goals and plays this year and with a better and more stable squad i think we will do better next year.

No,
i want a winning coach, a coach that tries to improve the team, a coach that have a plan, a coach that fix errors not do them over and over.

I honestly doesn't understand our tactic in terms of set pieces. the 2 players in corners, we don't know how to score in set pieces or how to defend them.

Imagine if Lucas was injured what we would do..!!

Victor doesn't close the games, the game plan is just look for lucas or go to the wing with 3 players and do a bad cross to one player that didn't score with his head all season.

I think Victor stats are bad in terms of winning. In 2016 he did an awful job, i know we are saved but i don't think he can do much better in the future
