i think i end up with 80% spain players + messi (barca anyone? )

i wont include any dutch, simply because the ones worth mentioning have their places occupied by a tad better spain equivalents. But i must say that robben isn't one of them: he seems to have just 1 trick in his book (run forward by the line, then make 90 degrees to the left side, run a bit more, and shoot)

The ones most expendible in the spain squad are imo pedro, villa, busquets and alonso. The rest stays. Instead pedro we have messi.
I want to put in tevez actually, but he doesnt fit the system.
too hard to solve quickly, i pass on this one

My favorite goals were Tevez long range missile for Argentina (can't remember the opposition but I think it might have been Mexico)
Also, I liked the opening goal of the tournament and Van Bronkhurst's against Uruguay in the semi-final.

As for the team of the tournament, it's a tough one and would probably change daily for me but on first thoughts, I'd go with:

GK: Neuer (Ger)

RB: Ramos (Spa)
CB: Pique (Spa)
CB: Puyol (Spa)
LB: Capdevila (Spa)

DM: Schweinsteiger(Ger)
LM: Iniesta(Spa)
CM: Sneijder (Hol)
RM: Sanchez (Chi)
AM: Messi (Arg)

ST: Forlan (Uru)

SUBS:
Cassillas (Spa)
Boateng (Ger)
Lahm (Ger)
Alonso (Spa)
Mueller (Ger)
Villa (Spa)

Probably can't name a squad but I'll have to mention Forlan's cracker against Germany as one of the best goals.

My favorite goals were
No. 1 Kaiser Keisuke super long range free kick in the match against Denmark.
No. 2 Gio's goal against Uruguay in Semi-Final
No. 3 Endo's freekick in the game against Denmark and curly shoot of Suarez in the game against S. Korea

For my Best XI (consider only the performance in World cup) in 4-2-3-1 my all time classic formation inspired by Depor's formation ...

GK: Stekelenberg (Hol)

RB: Ramos (ESP)
CB: Tulio Tanaka (JPN)
CB: Piquebauer (ESP)
LB: Lahm (GER)

CM: Schweinsteiger (GER)
CM: Yuki Abe (JPN)

AMR: K Honda (JPN)
AMC: Sneijder (NED)
AML: Park of Man Utd (S.KOREA)

ST: Forlan (URU)

SUBS:
Neuer (GER)
Yuji Nakasawa (JPN)
Gio (NED)
Diego Perez (URU)
Xavi (Spa)
Mueller (GER)
Villa (Spa)

Casillas
Maxi Pereira
Puyol
Pique
Fucile
Arevalo
Robben/Müller
Xavi
Iniesta
Özil/Sneijder
Forlan/Villa/Gyan/Klose

the goal that caused me the most happiness is the one of Puyol

Quagariella's (sp?) chip against Slovakia stands out. There's plenty more.

For a team goal, Cavani's goal against Germany in the 3rd place game was very well worked. A great tackle to start the break, Forlan cut across to create space, and Suarez nailed Cavani with a great pass for a clean finish.
