Default Depor talents...?

Why aren't there any talents in the Depor squad? Duscher and Luque are of course talents but I mean really young players.
Depor need some great talents!! Depor is the only team in La Primera without any player in the squad born in the 80s!
That's not good at all!!

I'm not very concerned with that; players are good and only some of them are finishing their careers. Fran is not playing as a starter for the first time in his life but Luque is playing so well that we don't miss him so much.
Naybet is 33 years old but I think he is going to play more years, anyway when he retires Pablo Amo will step up and we'll discover a wonderful defender.
Mauro Silva could be a more difficult case because there is not a player who can do what he does, but I hope Duscher will be a surprise for many people once he'll get a starting role.
The other players have many years to play for Depor so I don't care if they are 25 or 18.

I agree with Anuroc. I think Lendoiro is already sending scouts to brasil to search for the new Mauro

All positions are well covered for some years, we still miss an extra right winger like Victor, but Im very happy with Vic.

I have this feeling next season we will buy a very promising brasilian again, like he did with Bebeto, Rivaldo, Djalminha ...

I hope you're right!! But it would be great with some talents in the squad. A Joaquin or a Pienaar... it feels safe to have someone you know will be a great player!!

Im wondering how Depor would be without Mauro Silva.. its hard to see the team without him. One thing will be positive.. the one who will take his place over will probably score more then him hehe.

Maybe thats a little compensation for what we will miss when he stops.

Who knows a promising defensive midfielder?

Forget Joaquin, he has just re-signed with Betis till 2010, besides he would demand tons of money; the guy we should try to get for the right-wing is Valdo; he is playing in Osasuna but Real Madrid want him to go back (he used to play for their young squad).

Benoit Pedretti. The future defensive midfielder of the French national team. He will be 23 in like a month. As much as I've seen him play for France, he's been good. And getting better all the time. Our friends from Monaco would surely know more about him if they visited this thread. Of course it's not a player for Depor but just as you asked for a promising defensive midfielder, they do exist..

It's a shame we never managed to get Gilberto Silva before Arsenal. I think he would have suited that position.

Rather than brought someone I would like ours to develop an effective youth system. In history we are not lack of talented player, like Suarez, Amancio, fran.........
Spain under 17 NT just become runners-up this summer, but sadly no one is come from Depor THIS SITUATION MUST BE CHANGED!!!
Fortunely I think the club is turning to this way as Depor B is leading the league and hopefully some Depor future stars could be found in near future

I agree!!

How popular is football in A Coruņa? Is there any other popular sports in A Coruņa?

Lendoiro seems to buy only good players who can play in the starting eleven at once. That's good thinking if you don't have so much money so you can buy both good players and good talents.

"but I hope Duscher will be a surprise for many people once he'll get a starting role"

I donīt agree. Duscher is better in bench role, not starting role.

If we going to think season 2004-2005(which is too early, but anyway).
Players Out:
Amavisca
- Contract end
Jaime
- No use for Jaime. Could go out already in January
Djalma
- It looks that Djalma is going to Qatar very soon.
Amo
- If Depor donīt give him a change to play, they could loan out. I hope they give him a change. His role ainīt big

Players In:

- Replace for Mauro (I think they will give him year overtime). This have to be big name
- If Amo goes have to buy a replacement.

Why not?? He can't be so expensive. And Depor got some money when they sold Makaay. Maybe they can buy some great player because that's what we need when Mauro Silva quits.

Boumsong is not expensive player, cause his contract is going to expire in next summer. That means Auxerre has to sold him in January when the transfer window open again, but iīm very sure that his next address is Anfield Road, Liverpool.
