For me letting Victor go was the biggest mistake. We have not been the same since. Had victor stayed it would have allowed us to build a much better foundation with a continuing coach.

I agree. But I guess we don't know everything in that case. Im quite sure he was not fired because of the results.

This was never an easy task for Tino, and I think the project is clear. To start own our players, compared to before where >10 were loaned every season. This with a limited budget and still stay in primera. He has done OK, but have had a difficult time to take the next step.

and his biggest mistake: in 2014, Tino F. cancelled the Riazor Blues from the Riazor for the sins of FA... I criticized Lendoiro a lot, but I consider he had at least routine of the sport (football) world. Maybe we are more stable finance-wise now, although there are doubts as well, and of course better TV-fee helped a lot Tino F., but we are desperate in sporting sense. If we really relegate, Tino F. should sack himself.

Lendoiro was a gangster (like most football presidents), gambled a lot on the financial front and eventually lost. It took some years but he did eventually manage to destroy what he himself had created.
Yet, somehow, he was able to get the team up there, being competitive, WINNING TITLES and all. Before the financial fiasco - or the beginning of the end about it - we were playing a CL semi-final.

Tino fixed the financial crisis mainly thanks to one sweet deal with a bank which, has to be said, is almost "obliged" to be present in Galician society (long to explain but it was the smart PR move for them), and to which that amount of money was spare change.
Now, he has no feckin' clue on how the actual sport works.

I despise(d) Lendoiro, but Tino has made him the least of all evils in the history of the club. Go figure.

I fear for the future. I'll be there with the team, of course, but still... it looks cloudy ahead...

Worst case scenario we go down again. We would then need to bring in a Manager for a longer term project, and promote some of our Fabril players such as Edu, Pinchi, One and Francis. And get rid of all the dead wood in the current squad.

Get our identity back and try again.

But I'd obviously prefer to stay up this season and build again in the summer, being in Primera.

We need Primera money and a Primera reputation to start things improving (be able to bring quality players and manager). Going down this year would be much worse than last time, when it could be still considered one time mistake under unfavorable circumstances. No excuses this time!

I do not see the point in giving up now, with 15 matches left and 3 points to salvation..Im very dissapointed with people on this forum and glad your are not wearing the shirt. People gave up months ago. Does it ease the relegation if you predicted it 6 months before? Lets fight and believe we will survive!

we still have our chances. The mental effect (if Seedrof manages to bring) could go for a few matchdays.
Look at AC Milan these days, the Gattuso effect gave them a boost for 7-8 games...this is what we need.

(and bringing in the starting 11 Sidnei and Schar and kick out that comedy duo)

Agreed survival is a possibility. We need to pick up points pretty quickly, but correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've won back to back league games since the season 2015/16.
