I watched the match on Foxsports...

Personally, i am so not a big fan of Dwight Yorke playing in the midfield, he was playing defensive mid at times in the game... Absolutely ludacris!

He was acquired by the club as a striker, because he is "high-profile" he is given the chance to play these different positions. He does a good job playing in the midfield but, he would become more dangerous as a team player playing as a striker. The opposition defense does not see him enough of him for them to get nervous.

He should be played like Robbie Keane in the spurs outfit... he must be more elusive.

Dwight must play upfront!

Yeah, I didn't see the game last night, but I hope to go see a lot of Roar games this year. The tickets are only like $14.

The Melbourne Knights keeper look good also...!!!

Adelaide looked stunned and seem to playing on the back of last years "success". A change in tactic is a requisite at the moment.

and AND!! HOW BAD IS CARL VEART... HE IS PREHISTORIC!!

I'm not too sure about the Roar using Suncorp, they only get it half-capacity at best. The atmosphere is better in a smaller stadium that fills up.

Totally...Melbourne looked very good in the opener...

It will interesting to see how they progress because they had a good start last season then the tumble down the ladder began...

smaller stadiums sometimes have the best atmosphere!

But apart from Suncorp all our stadiums are crap! The Strikers used to play at Ballymore and that was a pretty average ground.

I was going to suggest Ballymore but that place is so bad... You really lack some quality stadium up there....

What about the new Gold Coast Tituns stadium...?

Hasn't finished yet I don't think. I thought they were going to use Carrara for 2007 then the new one in 2008. Besides, I don't wanna travel down to the Gold Coast to see the Roar play in a shitty stadium.

yeh 100%!!

a good stadium is essential!!

for example did u know that for the same price as sydney football stadium (aussie stadium now) we can play in stadium australia! (telstra stadium) so why do we play at sfs?

Better atmosphere and its a true football stadium!
