Better atmosphere and its a true football stadium!

At the Sydney Football Stadium (Aussie Stadium) is in Sydney, and Telstra Stadium (Homebush Olympic Park) is not... lol

It was found out a few days ago that the new Chinese recruit for Queensland is unfit after his return from China and as a result he will not be starting on Friday night against Newcastle.

Well, in a way it is!! Soccer, formaly known as Football nowadays is the most played junior sport in the nation and has been few a few years now. But because there was no established and credible league for the juniors to aspire to play in they seek abroad (mainly europe) to continue their career and most fail and there careers crumble. However with the effective establish of the A-League this is now something for the juniors/australia footballers to aspire to.

In the near future Football Federation Australia are putting every step forward in a bid to Compete with Rugby League, Cricket as the nations main sport.

But i will not rule it out...

I am a crazy football fan, crazy cricket and a crazy rugby league fan!! I Love it all!

The Queensland Roar have got off to a perfect start to the season by making it back-to-back wins after their 3-2 away victory over the Newcastle Jets. A Simon Lynch winner 4 minutes from time sealed the victory.

The Melbourne Victory have also made it 2 on the trot with a 3-2 win over last year's premiers Sydney FC. Earlier today, New Zealand upset Adelaide 1-0. The minor premiers of last season have started this season terribly with 2 losses in the first 2 rounds.

It was some pretty bad reffing from Matty Bridge tonight, and to think he was Australia's World Cup Ref rep.

The Melb - Sydney match was pretty Gung Ho, the penalty decision on Clint Bolton was ridiculous... Own-goal was a bit...??? Howyagoing! And the Melb's 3rd goal was Kevin Muscat with a bit of Bad Defending...! But, Points are Points!

After last week, and after seeing these "Brazilians" play i was very exciting as the prospect of seeing them play... So far, Claudinho is the only one to have impressed/has ruined my opinions of him lol....

Alessandro: Typical Brasilian winger who bloody holds his knee after the player CLEARLY gets the ball, replays of this incident (Mark Rudan send off) just make him look worse. He reminds he the Uruguayan how fell down holding his head and then had a "peek" to see if the ref gave a card? Anyone know his name, i have gone blank.

Fred: Dirty little bastard!!! He Elbows Mark Milligan in the BLOODY ADAMS APPLE!!!!!!!!!! AND GETS NOTHING....! Surely the post match review panel will suspend him, if more serious connection was there, couldn't this be life threatening!!! Little weed!!

Ah....Woooooooooooohsaaahhhhh!

WOW i am stunned at that refereeing display bloody SHYTE!! bloody mark sheilds!!

and yeh that uruguayan was rogeirio!! bloody cheat! yeh 100% the over-reaction got the card and then he rolled onto rudan so he kicked him off, and a RED!!

The first 2 goals shouldnt have stood!! 1st one leijer checked middilby was facing the opposite direction and now he has a broken collarbone. and the polayer middleby was tracking (muscat) flicked the ball to set up the goal!! DISCRACE!!

2nd goal wasnt a pen simple as that!

good gutsy effort by sydney and watching the game melbournes striker wouldnt shake hands and just held up 3 fingers as in 3 points. wait till melbourne come to sydney!! theyre going to cop it BIGTIME!!

Being a Depor, Raiders and Roar fan, rarely are my teams on top of the table. So I'm gonna enjoy this short time that Queensland will be leaders of the comp.

Yeah, top of the table clash!

BTW, how good have New Zealand played in the first 2 matches, only side left with a clean sheet.
