Default Ex-Player topic: Diego Tristan

How many more chances is Irureta going to give Diego Tristan. I have just heard that when he was substituted,Tristan insulted Irureta's mother. Surely Walter Pandiani hasdone more in the last two games than Tristan did last season. Does anyone know of a team that is looking for a washed up striker going cheap, because we've got one.

I was in the stadium and obviously I didn't hear what they said but something happened because Irureta, who was looking the game, suddenly spinned and started to talk towards were Tristan was placed on the bench. I told my seat's mate "Diego said something to Jabo"

yep, they Irureta was yelling at Tristán... Tristán said something when he went to the bench, and Irureta told him something which was not particularly nice...
Sorry Mattias, but unfortunately this is true, not just a media thing...
It'll be on TV for sure, 'cos it was pretty amazing...

but you shouldn't be worried about this, it's not the first time Irureta hears something bad when a player goes out the field, he is used to it

yeah, it's not the first time, it won't be the last... Believe me, the Irureta-Tristán relationship is a love/hate one... nothing new!
(the only difference is that this time it's on TV, that's all)

Hope Diego gets in shape soon.
One goal and all this will be forgotten.

So Pandiani scored 19 goals in 2 games, and put us through to the 2nd phase of CL with an incredible goal vs European champions, Milan?

Nice one.
But one must admit that Pandiani is in good shape.

you are being totally unfair. Get a grip of your sef! A row of four games without goals does not make a player deserve to be called wash up.

By the way he playing better and better.
