I'll take losing in the Copa and getting a good chance at beating a tired Sevilla in La Liga and moving into a CL position any day.

The thing is, tomorrow's game ISN'T a stressful match. At all. If we get something out of it, fantastic, if we don't, bummer. But the Copa isn't our priority, taking in mind we're doing well in La Liga and we're still in the Uefa Cup. Of course I'm hoping for a good result, but if we go out, it's not a drama at all.

Sevilla however, will of course play with their first team. They're already out of the Uefa Cup, and although they're doing not bad in La Liga with their 4th place right now, coach Jimenez is under fire. Their exit from the Uefa was a shock, and now the draw at home against Osasuna hasn't done much good. There are various sources indicating that a bad result at home against us tomorrow, will get Jimenez fired. So of course he's going to use his first team. If he gots knocked out of the Copa, Jimenez can probably kiss his job goodbye.

Hell, if we get a scoreless draw tomorrow, I'm happy.

I think its for italics. But you should have used your special IRONIC or SARCASM fonts

From my side I am hopeful as I think our bench players have something to prove, so I say a brave 2:0 win for us!
The only thing that worries me is Laure's and Cristian's presence there. I hope they will show something more than until now...

If we get Humiliated (3-0 or greater) why should we then use our key players in the second leg:S... I'm pretty sure Lotina will play with crap wearing depor's shirt if this is the outcome:P

Sooner or later we have to quit one competition. I really doubt we could make it for long in 3 competitions.

I don't want us to lose today, but if we get eliminated, this will be better for the performance of the team in spring

Meh, I even have my doubts on that. Besides 4 games in January, for us it would mean we'd only have to play two games more in the month of february against an average Spanish side. Then there are no Copa games till the final in the end of the season. So even if we would survive, I don't really see how a couple of games would influence the other competitions so much, seeing how we'll probably play with line-ups like these until the semi finals if we'd get that far.

I agree with the theory that 3 games in a week against the same team is awkward. Better for Lotina to play his reserve side tonight and the first team in La Liga at the weekend. Even if we lose badly tonight, the element of revenge will give us the edge at the w/end. And if we win or draw, then our confidence will be sky high. Win/win all around...

It's the same for Sevilla of course. If they win, their confidence will be high, and if we win, they will want to seek revenge this weekend

And I wouldn't exactly say we're playing with our B-squad to be honest.

the line up is not that bad there are some youngsters and some veterans to teache them altrough laure had already some decent preformances at the frist squad. i don't think we can win this but of can keep them at 0-0 unthil the break woud be good. i hope they are motivated to show they have some good qualitys altrough if seville score an early goal it coud be a big detead so i hope they don't score an eary goal so i won't need to swiche off the tv befor half time cause we are losing so bad as i can't dee us losing in any game.

The defensive line looks ok. Laure has got some primera experience so we can trust him. My main worry is abt the wings. Cristian is not a football player and everybody knows that Pablo Alvarez is good, but has been out due to the injury and lacks game practise. It's gona be nice to see Valeron and Riki playing from the first minutes. Omar should get some minutes too...
