am playing some fm2005 right now. couldn't wait for the next season of la liga so I had to manage depor by my own for a while.

using a 4-3-3 formation, which works fantastic.
2nd place in la liga after barca and through to the knockout rounds in CL.

my lineup

................................Munua............. .......................

Scaloni, Andrade, Tudor(2mil from Juve), Capdevila

....van Bommel (14mil from PSV), Valeron, Sergio....

........Tevez(10mil from Boca), Tristan, Luque.........

to be able to get the new players a sold munitis, victor, hector and pandiani.

Late reply this but started a new deportivo game. On my 4th season have won the league the first 3 seasons along with the Copa in the 3rd. Keep getting knocked out of the champs league in the first knockout stage to god damned Italian.

I only made 3 signings... Torres (Took all of £44mil after 3rd season), Stekelenberg (Spelling? GK from Ajax) and Coloccini (Scores ALOT from corners). It's good to use youngsters. a tip for anyone is to keep Momo and Ruben when they are back from loan. Momo is my star player. I play with a simple 4-4-2 Formation and my first team is as follows:

GK: Stekelelelelelenberg bla bla

DL: Capdevilla
DC: Andrade
DC: Coloccini
DR: Scaloni

ML: Momo
MC: Duscher
MC: Valeron or Sergio (tough choice)
MR: Victor

FC: Luque
FC: Torres

With this team I manage to get some great results in the league, my personal favourite a 7-1 Away win at the Nou Camp with Luque scoring 5! I Currently lie 3rd in the latest season 4 points behind the leaders Barca after 14 matches.

I am looking at trying to buy Yeste as he is performing excellent for Bilbao and Spain but I need to win some serious prize money to be able to afford him.

Another silly tip I found out when messing about in my Albacete game I started is Buy Daniel Fredheim Holm straight away as you start a new game. You can get him for around £800k usually and as soon as you buy him his value will go up to about £3.6mil then at the end of the season you can usually offload him to a big european club for £13-18mil. Easy Money without your 'cheats' or editors

Question...

I've just started a game with Depor and Chelsea, Juve, Inter etc are all sniffing round Jorge Andrade!!!

I've punted out Munua, Munitis and Changui and brought in Duda otherwise the squad is the same as starts the game.

I've got Lequi coming in Dec, as Amo ain't really up to the job, for 10M Euro's...steep i know!!!

The question is would you sell Andrade, if so who to and how much can you realistically expect to get for him, i've valued him at 72M Eur's as i know Chelsea have got the cash, they've sold Veron,Geremi and Gallas and start the game with at least 60M!!!

I've tried offering a new contract and he wants 75k a week for three years with a signing bonus of 1.5M!!!

Also who would you replace him with??? Please don't say Kompany, someone who is not too well known and would realistically cost max 10M.

I was thinking someone like Tal Ben Haim...

I would sell him for a good price because he won't be as motivated and consistent if you don't sell him.
A good replacement would be Olof Mellberg IMO, I've always liked him in this game.

Neil Winstanley from SA, or Gonzalez from Colombia, young and costs less than £3. mill. Both good DC's.

At the beginning of the game sign the Ghanaian Augustine on a free, stick him up front and watch the goals fly in.
