I respect yr faith in Fatih, therefore I guess the best thing to do is wait and see how it ends.

Most of people attending Riazor prefered him over Romero (and Romero was at the peak of his career), but people who don't go to Riazor and just read/listen what journalists say didn't like him at all. He was not happy here because the style of live was quite different from Montpellier, the city where he came from. Besides he was used to have lunch at 12:30, go shopping at 14:30 and those weird things euros do .

Weeeeeellllllll, I don't attend Riazor but I would prefer almost anyone over Romero And I say almost cause there's still a guy called Raul Bravo that says that he is a left back!!

From what I understand, Trabzonspor is signing Zurawski for 2 reasons;
1) If Tekke stays aboard, the two will be the attacking duo.
2) If Tekke leaves, then Zurawski will be the striker.
I never saw Zurawski's game before, but if his game is consistent with the footage that I saw on TV, either option is a nightmare for the Turkish league teams.

Papers say that Fatih received offers from Newcastle and Everton and he wants to go. Newcastle sounds like a solid chance, especially after Souness' signing of Emre.

By the way, Fatih Tekke (forummate); what's going on w/Tolga? Just let him go man. If a player has his mind set on a transfer, he is no good by staying forcefully. We went thru the same thing w/ Balic during his pre-transfer period to Real. Tolga is good, but you've got enough talent to replace him.

zurawski signed to celtic..

From Skysports :

Monday 20th June

The Turkish SuperLig's top scorer Fatih Tekke is keen to leave Trabzonspor and continue his career abroad.

Tekke claimed 30 goals as his side pipped Galatasaray to second place behind Fenerbahce, and is now convinced that he has outgrown his domestic league.

Deportivo have been rumoured to hold a strong interest in the Turkish international, who has made clear his desire to move on to one of Europe's more prestigious surroundings.

"A player's dream must be to represent his country abroad after a while," said Tekke.

"I've been playing high level football in Turkey for many years now and have become the top goalscorer.

"I think now is the time to play abroad."

As well as Depor, Tekke's agent Ceylan Caliskan revealed that other clubs from both Germany and Spain were tracking his prolific client's progress, and backed the striker to prove a success should he leave Trabzonspor.

"Fatih has potential, I think he can score 20 to 25 goals a season in Europe," said Caliskan.

"At the moment Hertha Berlin, Stuttgart, Valencia and Deportivo la Coruna are interested in him."
