Yeeesssss!! Watched the 2nd half sitting about 2 inches away from a 50" tv with lovely Estrella Galicia! Heaven Echo the thoughts about Filipe - his value is soaring every game he plays. More so now that he has shown he can play LM. Thought Tomas did well until he was substituted - he does an awful lot of work for the team that goes unnoticed. Ze Castro played Zigic agressively in the 2nd half and cancelled out his threat. Adrian is both annoying and exciting - he doesn´t ´pull the trigger´fast enough, but is very exciting. He might explode soon and we might get a big offer for him down the line.

Well done to the boys. Now, I´m off to swill more beer

That was a game of 2 halves.

The first half was poor from our respect. I couldn't believe the lack of enthusiasm and we looked like we were playing a pre season friendly. The goals were sloppy defensively and there seemed like there was huge gaps between defence and midfield. Offensively, we were pretty non existant and Moya only had a couple of low shots to deal with if my memory serves me correctly.
I'm so glad the 2nd half was a complete turnaround and especially after Filipe's goal; we looked like we really wanted to go through. The passion and belief came back and with it, came the fight and determination we needed. Valencia still had a couple of chances but we took the game to them in spells and could probably have had a few more ourselves. Filipe and Laure were both excellent and JR got through a hell of a lot of work. Valeron had spells of brilliance and went off when I thought he was just starting to pull all the strings but I have to say I was also impressed with the attitude of our subs. Lopo came on very late but Ivan Perez and Adrian really worked hard when they came on, not giving them any time or space.
1st half - One to forget
2nd half - Proud to be a Depor fan

On more good news, none from Juca, Bodipo (especially the first one) seemed to leave the place injured, which is great and quite surprising

BTW Felipe was great, I was very surprised to see how he control the ball in the box

Felipe is a king, we owe the win to him. Good performance from the rest of the team in the second half - made me really proud. Especially liked ivan perez and valeron. We chased down every ball and made their players look average.

Depor will miss nothing from bodipo. He doesn't get in any positions/move in front of defenders and he also cant finish. Didn't work the back line hard at all, and you could tell the massive difference when Adrian came on and got in the key areas. There's no doubt he's a great servant of the club, but his technical performances really let the team down.

Felipe should play as a striker! Nice performance by the team in the 2nd half. It's games like this that make me proud to be Depor fan...if we play like we did in the 2nd half for the rest of the season we will surely be in CL next season!

Wow, when ggeorg texted me the score at half-time, I was certain we were doomed I was shocked when he let me know about the 2-2

Anyway, if we were to survive Sevilla, we'd actually be the favorites on paper to win this cup. If Atletico doesn't get a comeback of course. So the games against Sevilla are two early finals. I sincerely hope, even though I know La Liga is our priority and that we have a lot of injuries, to see at least Aranzubia and Lopo in the starting eleven. If we can prevent Sevilla to score at the Riazor, we have a great opportunity in our hands.

Thanks again ggeorg!!

Damn, I had to leave during half time to attend a class in college (and the damn teacher didn't even apeared). It seems like Im missing the best games this season (Depor-Getafe, Depor-Athletico and this one).

And I would keep Felipe rather than sell him, though Im still not sure if I would prefer to sell Guardado instead of him (I at least one of them stays with us).
