It is a little strange for me, that everybody is so excited about Filipe. Haven't you seen his unbelievable miss from 7 meters on empty goal after Adrian's fast, and unexpected (a normal forward would have shot on target, but he passed) pass in the second half?

Great game.

Lotina should try JR as the striker first class finishing from him against zaragoza and now against valencia.

If we get into the Champions League, then he's got more reason to stay.

no wait, you're right, i was thinking on another play of Filipe yet.
The one you mean was very surprising for him and probably most others as well; i didnt see the pass form Adrian coming either; though he would try himself.
And.... dont take for granted that Filipe becomes in 1 game Spain's most instinctive striker

I know what you're talking about and I agree that was an easier chance than the actual goal he scored. Filipe only needed to tuck it in with this right foot, but he chose to shoot with his left and missed. Filipe's an amazing player, but Loti should work with him on at least tapping the ball with this right foot from time to time

Great result and turnaround from the team. Even with the numerous missing players, the team really came together and played fantastic (in the second half). Filipe was amazing anf J Rod is really stepping it up lately.

for sure Adrian should have tried it himself. Filipe played wonderfully all match long, but at that moment I went crazy

I'm not sure. Moya was close to him and he had few space to shot. IMO it was a good decision to pass to Filipe, who was in a better position. On the other hand this action was very fast so I don't blame Filipe that he missed.

Exactly..if we get into CL then will be an incentive for players to stay! Lendoiro might even feel the urge to strengthen the squad like he did when we qualified for UEFA Cup.

it was a very bad decision, an afraid decision of unexperianced player, he shoud have tried by him self. Any way Felipe can be blamed for the miss.
