But did they "borrow" it from the Daily Record???

NACHO GOVO
By Neil Cameron

NACHO NOVO is ready to quit Rangers and head back home to Spain.

The Ibrox star dropped a heavy hint to the Spanish press that he was ready to leave the club after five years in Scotland.

Novo dreams of playing for his country but has never got a look in even when he was scoring regularly for Rangers last season.

Injuries have ruined this season for him but he is a hero to Gers fans who admire his work-rate and would not want to see him go. But it seems that 26-year-old Novo, who also played for Raith Rovers and Dundee, is determined to make a name for himself at a top La Liga side.

The striker, who has two years left on his Ibrox deal, said: "I would love to return to Spain to join a club with ambitions. I have been playing Champions League football with Rangers and have the taste for it.

"Celta Vigo, Deportivo or Villarreal - I like the sound of any of them. But it is a matter for my agents. They brought me over to Scotland, they support me and I leave everything in their hands. They know I have a dream to play in Spain.

"It will be difficult to achieve but I will not give up on my dream.

"I would love to play for Spain but it will be hard for me to get noticed by national coach Luis Aragones.

"It's every player's dream to represent his country and I will keep working and scoring to try to make it happen."

Novo has missed much of the season after a hernia operation and breaking a bone in his foot. His bad luck coincided with Rangers' domestic slump.

Nice to see a source from you Hippy you big plagiarist but a big part of your post is a link to an advert Hippy.

Who would we say Novo is most like in our squad? He's always struck me as being a bit of a Ruben type.

I'd only be worried that playing in Scotland has affected his game.

To be honest, I don't think Thierry Henry would look that great in our team at the moment.

He's only just established himself in the Rangers first team after being frozen out by Le Guen early on in the season but he's always hinted at a return home.

We need Nacho Novo, he scored some goals in Glasgow in the last few weeks...
He is capable to score and is a Galician.

Heard the 'rumours' of Nacho Novo linking himself with Celtic during the week. Sheer comedy gold!

This article proves one of two things:

1. He is seriously deluded.
2. He is, rather sadly for himself and for anyone at his club, attempting to
attract interest in himself by stating he 'has heard rumours that Celtic are
interested in him'.

Nacho 'No Goals', as he is known in Scotland, earned this name not due to long spells of injury but because of his lack of goals ratio during open play. Ask any honest rangers this.

If indeed, Depor go for this guy, I'll gladly buy a beer for everyone on here everytime Nacho scores a goal.

PS I've had a beer with him in his hometown of Mugardos and he's not a bad
lad, just a bit misguided! Je je je

That's weird because in the last month and a half he has scored from open play against - Hearts, St Mirren, Auxerre, Livorno and Maccabi Haifa. When he first came to Rangers he was a first team player and scored about 20 in that season. Since then he has been mainly used as a bit part player (the main reason why he hasn't scored as many as he should have done) until recently.

Get your facts right muppet!!!
