Default 9 March: Juventus - Deportivo (CL)

The topic for the most important match of the season so far!
It seems that most Deportivo players will be fit to face the Italians on wednesday, but let's keep our fingers crossed during the match at the Mestalla....

I have very good hopes, but still we should be more carefull at the back then on the Riazor. They had 2 clear changes to score!

When we overcome, next round is possible to win as well. And after that we always have a 50% change to win each next match...

*I will order my ticket for the final already *

If we get eliminated from Champions League against Juve this season must be considered as a failure!!
Personally I KNOW we have the capacity to win and I THINK we will.
The CL-title is the only realistic target left this season. Let's give all priority to it!!

I think winning the CL is as realistic as winning the Liga... very difficult but not impossible...

That's true.
When I wrote "the only realistic target left" I didn't mean it that way (Please excuse that my bad English makes it quite hard for me to express myself.)
I think we still have the chance in La Liga. If we beat Real Madrid at Riazor the difference will be only 6 points.
What I meant was that it's more likely to beat Juve that win La Liga and also we get more money if we win CL than if we win La Liga. And obviously we're in need of money.

I hope I've made myself a bit more clear now.

In this topic I might differ from some people.I'm happy that Depor are where they are.I once told my uncle that I would rather Depor reached the last 16 of the chmpion league 10 years running, than if they won it once.Don't get me wrong I would love for Depor to win the CL,but I have supported them for a long time and most of that time they were in the second division, so I'm just glad that Depor is where they are today.

Me too, but with such a squad like Depor sometimes it's ok to have some higher expections...
But indeed, every year CL is a very good achievement... just look at clubs like Valencia and Barcelona who have both missed the CL. Their fans have more reason (history, finance) to demand high good results

Everything will be fine. Let's just believe and trust our players, and of course Irureta. We are the champions! There is no team that has as strong belief in success as Depor. God will not leave us in this game. Depor can't be stopped by Yuve again.

I have high hopes for this match. If we go thru then will be acknowleged a quality team. I mean, Juve were the finalists last season we beat them...we technically have finalists potential. Wouldn't be too bad if we went out though! We would of gone out to last seasons finalists which doesn't sound bad at all.
