some experts says Bundesliga will high-fly within a few years once again. some financial datas I read: in 2006/2007 every team made some profit in the BL1 and 12 per 18 in BL2. While in other important leagues the wages-costs of the players takes cca. 60% of the total budget it is only 39% in the German BL. Since 2002 every club in primera and segunda must have a football-academy, with a yearly avarage budget of 1-2M EUR.
DFB has 160 employees, while it receives cca. 430M EUR media-income per year.
There are cca. 35.000 official sport-workers (players, coaches, sport-doctors, presidents, etc). in Germany.
Maybe interesting for someone.

Sergej Barbarez, ex B&H NT player decided to quit football at age 36. He played his last season at Bayer Leverkusen. He spent twelve years in Bundesliga and scored 95 goals in 330 matches for Dortmund, Hamburg and Leverkusen, and also 17 goals in 49 matches for NT.
He will probably take over Bosnian National team soon (he is currently going to the coach school).

Big loss for average German Bundesliga!

Bundesliga started yesterday with 2:2 in Bayern - HSV game. Today we will see another 6 games, the ones that I'm waiting for are Energie vs. Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg vs. FC Koln. First one because I'm very curious about small Hoffenheim (since 1990 they advanced 7 times and never got relegated - in 1990 they played in 8th league!) and the second one because I really like FC Koln.

C'mon Koln and Hoffenheim!

Borussia is leading against Bayern Munich and Błaszczykowski scored the only goal so far!!! Also add to this Bayern down to 10 men (Van Bommel red card) and I can't believe BVB would throw out this chance to beat FC Hollywood! 62 minutes played!

Bosnian Vedad Ibisevic is their main player, at least at the moment. He scored 3 goals in 2 matches so far.

Dramatic event in yesterday's match Karlsruhe-Koln. Koln's captain Umit Ozat fainted on 27-th minute and swallowed his tongue. He was brought to the hospital and now his condition is stable. I hope he will be OK.

Just saw it. But it was one goal in last match, means he has 4 goals on his name. But the truth is that another Bosnian in Hoffenheim, Sejad Salihovic, scored another! We're on fire!
