So from now on Riki should be a starter on the left wing!

--Sergio - De Guzman
Guardado - Verdu - Riki
-----Xisco/Bodipo

Doesn't look good?

LOL!! Thats what I was just thinking.

I'm guessing Guardado must have swapped with Cristian.

That was a beautiful pass (play). Aouate started it all with that just right pass, Guardado ended with a nice touch to lower left post for the score.
I think that we have to move our players around to fix holes. Untill we get players to fill those holes. Much needed win with the hope of many more to come. Never lose faith.

So you think your going to win. Then you find DEPORTIVO in your field. Not going to be nice and pretty. DEPORTIVO has something you need. You need an ass kicking and your number is up. It's been long time coming, and guess what? DEPORTIVO has your number, hello goal hello win. DEPOR, DEPOR I will be there till the end.

very nice actions i must say, great goal by xisco, he runs a bit like the notre dame guy but he gets it done thats for sure, the defender has difficulty getting back if he is passed by xisco. He has a strong physical presence, i just hope he works on his technique really hard. He still looks a bit clumsy or maybe not at ease, like he is holding the hand break or something

Only the 2nd time i've watched us play(2 wins 0 losses thanks to ESPN)

While the result is good I have to say this team has little concept on posession, retaining and sustaining pressure. Is this recoccuring throughout the year or only against Sevilla and Murcia?

De Guzman's doing a hell of a job! He carried his pivot partner(Sergio?) for most of the game. I'd like to see Bodipo get more of a chance as he's more of a calming player with better movement.

How good was Piscu's clearance off the line? Magic.

I think Lotina is doing a great job. He knows that his right side is weak and has noone to put there. So what dose he do, puts Guardado there in the last two games. Merit goes to Lotina and Guardado for playing in a position that is not his and that he never played. I think that Guardado shows that to have desire to win is key.
Don't get me wrong Xisco did great, but thats what he should have been doing from the start. I mean, thats what Depor pays him to do, score. I am so happy for us. I knew that we would win this game. Note: thats why I said that we must never show up with defeatism.

Actually Guardado starts off in the left side, then usually late in the second half Lotina switches him to the right wing. I guess he does this to surprise the other team, which has worked in counter-attacks like this one and also in the one versus Real Madrid where Gago had to foul him in order to stop him

I believe Christian started in the right wing, and no Guardado should not start in the right wing. He masters the left side and starting him on the right would just be wasting talent.

Pato your right, it would be silly putting Guardado on the right. Yes, last two games had him go over to the right in 2nd half. It worked and your right about the surprise thing and I do remember that play with the foul that Gago did. I think they must have been working on this (surprise) right side attact. I hope that Lotina does what it takes to have his team win.
I tend to find this a good thing. It shows that Lotina is a good coach. What he's doing is building on Guardado's talent. In other words, when Guardado looks back he'll say ( Lotina showed me alot ). You like to see a coach leave something behind. Guardado, will start to develop different skills, thanks for his ablity and Lotina's coaching. Or do ya'll think I' just happy we won!hahaha

Your right, great goal! Xisco is going to be one of Spain's top strikers. His has alot of talent. I was hard on him but like him. I think he should alwas play and that well. Sure he looks uneasy but thats just because his young. Thats the difference between Guardado and him, Guardado has played a World Cup, Copa America and started in the ist team (Atlas) at 18. He's young but has that edge. Not to worry Xisco will get it and when he does he will kickass!

Howww sweet...
Because of a very busy weekend this is my first occassion of being online.. No better way of starting the dull monday at work

This is why I was so sceptical about benching Xisco against Mallorca, although an (slight) injury is a realistic reason. The more he plays the better we can judge.. and for now he's proving to be a Primera striker.
