Seriously, Holland makes me sick today. They kicked, dove and cried their way past Brasil. Pathetic.

I still can't believe this. This must've been Holland's most pathetic performance I've ever seen. They did absolutely nothing but fall down every chance they got, and deal out dirty tackles themselves. Van Bommel could've easily gotten 4 yellow cards today. And then the equaliser, a lucky crap goal that came from a free kick, earned by Robben's 4635th dive of the afternoon. Seriously, his dives even look so over-the-top and ridiculous, that I can't believe that ref kept falling for it. I completely understand Filipe Melo, in fact, I was hoping he kicked his face instead of just his chest Seriously, I've never seen a team falling to the ground so much in one game.

Of course, the Dutch are already taking about the final right now, completely forgetting they still have to dispose of Uruguay or Ghana first.

Fortunately, Holland has been terrible in this World Cup, so here's hoping for a win of Uruguay tonight. I give Uruguay at least a 50% chance of knocking them out in the semi-finals.

Dutch press is laughable. I'm reading articles on the internet right now, where they call it a "convincing" or "fully deserved" win

The friggin BBC are already talking about a Holland v Argentina final

Not sure why they think Argentina will just breeze past Germany and possibly Spain.

Well, Gregory I am with you about the Dutch, but Brazil played more disgusting. Robinho had verbal fights against every one already in the first final, Alves was indolent as usual, and Melo is an idiot like his coach. So as Brazil was more disgusting, I am happy with the Dutch going through. Anyway Bommel is also a killer, I hate him...
So no football here, as Rik predicted.

i liked the result very much.. surely Robben dived and Van Bommel was even more ridiculous.. he's one of the dirtiest player in the footballing world.. apart from that I thought Holland did their job pretty well especially in defence.. and it was Brazil's own fault to leave up the initiative in the second half to Holland.. besides, Brazil has some of world's greatest divers (Robinho, Dani Alves, etc) so let them suffer the same also..

I honestly can't see how Holland did their job pretty well. They were nowhere in the first half and should've been behind more than just 1-0. Than early on in the second half, they score a lucky goal after a free kick earned by a Robben dive, after which the game changed completely, since Brasil was becoming more and more nervous, and more and more frustrated.

The fact that Van Bommel came out of this game with no booking, is unbelievable. I actually thought the Brazilians only got frustrated in the second half and honestly, I can't blame them at all. Robben, Van Bommel, Van Persie,... They were all a disgrace.

Sure, I already was rooting for Brazil from the start, but this must've been the most ridiculous quarter final I've ever seen in a World Cup. Here's hoping for Uruguay tonight.

Greg was right in almost all what he said but I am really happy to see the Dunga's "Brazilian" version of "La squadra Azzura", OUT, even they were wearing blue shirts today...

Shame, Dunga; the set-pieces didn't work this match...to make this Brazil look good
