hahahaha you thought of that for a long time huh? Anyway, cool to have high five'd with Aouate!

I think the attacker problem is at some level about learning to work together. None of the attackers we have in the squad is used to work with each other, at least not in La Liga games. I guess that Taborda, Adrian and Riki has most practice with each other since they were in our squad last year, but still capa used a different system. Let's hope they evolve some companionship all of them and that they get something to work with at all.

IMO our wingers are a lot more skilled this year and we should use them the most. Look at Sevilla, they have skilled wingers and constantly use them with a great result. IMO they play the best football to watch in spain, or rather did last season as we cant judge this season yet. Send the balls to the sides, let guardado work his magic and riki/adrian/xisco/taborda head the balls into the net!

stupid one liners like that just come to mind

about the wingers, i think you still need a fast central midfielder, to play one twos with them, we cant expect our wingers to dribble 3 defenders and put in a perfect cross

You are right of course, i evolved my theory in the pre-match thread for the valladolid game. I said there that the wing-defenders should join the attack, but of course also the central midfielder(s) could. Since we have pretty offensive wing defenders now (barragan, filipe) we should use their abilities...

but again that leaves a lot of space for the slow lopo and colo to cover
then de guzman would need to stay pretty far back

I don't think so, you only need one of the full backs to go forward and that still leaves three defenders in the back line. And if Riki goes just slight bit into midfield from time to time to participate in combinations that should be enough players to help the wingers get some crosses in.
