Default Segunda

So, it's a little bit early to think of this, but I'd like a topic here with some information on what's going to happen now.

What with our sponsors? What with TV money? What with our budget?

As I sort of understood, one year in Segunda wouldn't be exactly thát damaging for Depor, but two years would kill us. If we'd get a few millions for Guardado and, saddly enough, Colotto perhaps, then how would our budget stack up against other Segunda teams?

At this point I'm not hopeful of returning next year to Primera, but as deporiginal said - it's too early, so lets wait and see what changes will be made in our squad.
But we will see a lot of players leaving, Guardado first.

well we lose a load of money, luckily our leader was wise enough to pay an insurance incase of relegation that will bring in €15 million which will help a little.
We will lose Guardado, Lopo, Colloto, Ruben Perez and a few others and have to rely on cast offs and our B players.
On the plus side we play Celta, IF they don't get promoted, if they do that will complete the shittiest season in a long time.

yes the secure departures are guardado and adrian
now it's time for aythami,saul,jd,dioni,rochela,alex,dani,raul,seoan e,manu,alvarez,michel....
Maybe the only one positive thing is that we will play a derby with Celta if they won't a promotio
definitely our team will be totally different for the next year, now it will be very tough because if we won't a promotion next season it will be very complicated to do it during next years...

When does the Segunda season usually start? I'm definitely going to be at our 1st home game and I expect a full house like today (I have faith in our fans)

Manu
Laure Aythami Rochela Pablo/Seoane
Saul Bergantinos Dominguez Valeron Desmarets/Alvarez
Riki (I hope he will stay now)/Dioni

Not that bad for the 6-th position...

As far as the squad goes, here's who I think goes, and who stays:

Gone:
Dani, Lopo, Colotto, Ze Castro, Morel, JuanRo, Tomas, Guardado, Juca, Desmerets, Ruben Perez, Adrian, Xisco, Sand, Bodipo, Michel

Staying:
Manu, MP, Aythami, Laure, Rochela, Alvarez, Saul, Alex Bergantinos, Ivan Perez, Dominguez, Riki, Lassad, Valeron

Looking at that, it's going to be a whole different team.

I believe this is a blessing in disguise, we need to offload some old players who get paid too much and we've been known to just lose players at the end of contract rather than getting a transfer fee. It's a fresh start which is must needed and promotion could be an unbelievable for Manuel Pablo and Valeron. Starting from day 1 it's time to go young and hope for the best and hope for development and future transfer fees until we are back in Primera and competing for the UEFA spot once again.

Well, I'm off to cry myself to sleep now

Here's hoping Lendoiro will come out to clarify things as soon as possible. I really want to know if he believes getting back to Primera in one season is a reasonable objective now.

At least there will be a Galician derby

I think it's to soon to guess who will stay and who will leave. Several will leave (a good thing) and we will surely sell Guardado.

What I already wrote before it's that we shouldn't have too many financial problems in the 1st year (the usual ones), because the assurance that Lendoiro bought compensate the big loss with the TV contract. The question is what will happen if we don't go up in the 1st year.

From news:
Lendoiro said after the game that he will start to build the new project in order to clinch the promotion as soon as possible.
