It seems Depor is recovering from the high debts. In comparance with a couple of months ago Depor has gained a lot of extra income.
--------------------------------------------------------
+/- 20 Million Euro - Tv Money for 1 year

+/- 18 Million Euro - Makaay deal

+/- 8 Million Euro - Participation money CL
---------------------------------------------------------

This means almost 50 Million extra in a couple of months, although I dont know when they will really have the cash. I guess the CL money will be at the end of the season.

They are also cutting numbers of players in the squad, this will save some costs.

So we can say the balance is more positive now..
Correct me if the numbers/facts arent right

-3 million Euro - Munua deal.

The high debts shouldn't be too much of a problem, as football clubs are never run for profit, with the exception of PARMA.

There is still around £90,000,000 in red, which will prevent Deportivo from spending too liberally, but all signs are good

They are not really finance problems with Deportivo. For example, we are still paying in parts the money for SERGIO. The club have money enough to not enter in red numbers, but if we stop our earnings, then we will be. Do u understand? Did I explain it correctly?

By the way, Depor is number 12 in the top debit clubs in the 1a division. I really feel save cos there's a lot of money entering in the club (CL is 10 million € + possible victories + Champions League TV rights that this year we negociate separately from Liga ones)

Depor's debt is the 10% of Atletico de Madrid one and they don't play in Europe.

Yes this is very good deal.. CL can become very profitable this year. It's unbelievable Luque's goal can be worth so much,

Let's say Depor performes like this in first round:

6 games
3 wins = (3* 500.000) ===>€ 1.500.000
2 draws = (2* 250.000) ===>€ 500.000
1 loss

That would be €2.000.000 only the first round and only winning the half of games

Normally the second round would be also 6 games but now only 2, so in these 2 games the profit will be very high I think.

And what will Depor get for the CL TV rights??

Funny these calculations

Lazio? Real Madrid (Florentino Perez & Co)? Racing? Most likely Abramovich is also hoping for a profit

nice point: to keep our actual "style of life" we have to stay in top 4 in Spain and still qualifying to CL.

Of course caabrego, look what happened to Valencia. Uefa Cup's money is not enough to pay high salaries like KILY GONZALEZ

BTW. The only stuff talking about finances of European Clubs I found is this one:

http://www.footballfinance.co.uk/pre...003release.pdf

....looking for 'Deloitte & Touche' in your favorite Searchengine should give you sum press citations in your language of their data...

Anyone else got sum Links to this kind of data?

This amount is exaggerated. I think our debts were between 70-80 million Euro some months ago...

and a lot of that is over long periods.
I look at it like buying a house it might cost you 100,000 euros but you have a lot of years to pay it.

I read somewere that the total dept in Liga ones was total of 5 bill. Euro is that correct? That is a insane amount, and a prove of how not to run a footbalclub.

U say Depor have 90 mill Euro in dept. My club Rosenborg has instead about 20 mill euro in cash reserves. Still played 8 years in CL.

The salaries in todays footbal is insane. No way one human is worth 100.000 euros a week to play footbal! Hope FIFA/UEFA puts a stop to this madness. We supporters dont want a situation were only a few handfull clubs make mony and by all the best players. we want players ho love their club not the money the get from it. we want many clubs fighting on equal terms for the triphies! Stop the mony-game! Keep footbal!

Did Pelè make many mill. euro a year? No. Was he the greatest ever? Yes
