DEPOR_THRU N THRU is off the scale
Default Ex-Depor player: Lionel Scaloni (now at Mallorca)

No offence to our midfielder, Lionel.
But i feel that when he plays in midfield he has no impact on the game. I don't know why???
When he plays at right back i think he is brilliant he makes good well timed tackles and works very hard for the team
Evidence
When we played barcelona at home this season he scored the winner and in my opinion was man of the match
Away to barca he scored an easy goal but didn't do that well.
When he got moved to rt back he made a few good tackles and semed to play better.
Any views?

I agree he's better at Right back. He's not an incredibly gifted attacking player, like Argentiniens are more respected for, but he's a versatile player. Like you said, his forte is RB. And he's also an option as a defensive right mid.

He's definitely more suited to play rightback than as a winger, because the right midfield spot means being creative at Deportivo...

I know Scaloni is not a technical talent and he looses a lot of balls playing as a winger.... but he fights and ....SCORES!!!!

I think he's in the next Argentinean squad too, together with Duscher... Let's hope he makes his debut this time...

right back of course, because he play better at the back than in midfield.

Oh common! Scaloni is in the list of players for tomorrow's game in Valencia, why should Depor sent him to England?

I will close the topic.

Riazor.org now have some info on it.They say it could be a loan move.

If I find no more info soon then I'll close topic again.
