Jorge Andrade: the model pro. Brilliant of him to say that. He is brilliant. He's good because he;s aggressive, and takes care of his own players, plus he hates divers, like: Jose Mari, raul, and loads of others. Loved it, when he cut down jose mari, and the ref didnt see it, it was great

Default Jorge Andrade (Deportivo)

Man Utd in agent talks over Depor defender Andrade
tribalfootball.com - March 17, 2004

Manchester United are in talks with the agent of Deportivo La Coruna defender Jorge Andrade.
United officials met with the Portugal international's agent, Jorge Mendes, in Oporto earlier this week to discuss a possible summer move to Old Trafford.

AS says Mendes informed the United representatives that Andrade has a contract to 2009, with a buyout clause set at pound 40 million. Mendes was asked if there was a possibility of negotiating deal under that fee.

The 26 year-old has played 27 of 28 La Liga games this season and has also established himself as his country's No1 centre-half.

United are expected to approach Deportivo La Coruna about Andrade before the end of the month.

I would tell MU to prepare the buyout clause fee or fxxx off He's our future in defence

I hope/know Depor officials are realistic........ If they sell him, it's the end of Depor chances in CL for the next year/ a while.

Naybet is good, but he's OLD.

IT'S US WHO NEED TO BUY A second CENTRAL DEFENDER !!!....to play alongside Andrade........

On paper, we have 4 CB players: Naybet, Amo, Cesar, Andrade. BUT IN FACT we only have Andrade!

He's contracted until 2009 and has a buy-out clausul so I don't think we have to worry.

Lendoiro is smart. I trust him!

Let me just say this once more
Depor have never been a selling club.BUT if someone comes in with the buyout clause money then there is very little Depor can do.Lendoiro unless Depor is in dire financial crisis will not sell any of his stars. If he has to sell them because they no longer want to play for Depor and they are coming to the end of their contract (ie Maakay) Then he will get as much as possible for that player.Look at all the things that happened with Maakay but in the end he went for a lot more than Bayern were prepared to pay.
