I think after the salvation is clinched he will increase the buyout and Depor will start to plan for next season as they are guaranteed to play in Primera. Until then I doubt it will be discussed.

Lucas made an amazing season scoring 17 goals and provided 10 assists, also was the reason for 2 own goals (vs Celta & winning goal vs Levante)

Nice video for his goals and assists for this season, enjoy

Any idea why he seems to have not been considered for the Spain squad (other than the fact that he plays for us)?

I think Del Bosque called up the wrong Lucas. He must of heard praise about this Lucas from Galicia then went to look who lucas was and found a lucas vazquez from Galicia on the real madrid roster.

Del Bosque is cowered, he will call Barca/real players just to satisfy them and the media, many players don't deserve to represent Spain, iam sure they will be out from first round

bartra !! Fabregas! Casilas! Lucas Vasquez !

Okay, Vasquez is a good young player but seriously you leave Lucas Perez and take this guy !

I am pretty sure after this Lucas Perez will think about going to Ateltico or Liester in order to play in the national team

Casillas will probably start over De Gea, which is quite disturbing!
Bartra and Pedro have done nothing this season, and he hasnt picked Alcacer, who I thought was one of his favourites.
No Javi Martinez and no Mata, players with high level experience. All he needs to do now is drop Aduriz, and Spain might aswell stay at home.
At this moment in time our Lucas seems ready for that squad, but I do also like Lucas Vasquez.

Also Isco. Bartra, Isco and Lucas are all bench players - maybe Del Bosque wants the players to be used to the situation from their club and that they settle into hierarhy. Bartra won't play infront of Ramos/Pique, Isco not infront of Iniesta, Koke, Thiago and Lucas not infront of Silva.
The strategy is strange, but Del Bosque has a few trophies to show to his name.

Would you Seriously compare Lucas Vas with Perez !! a bench player with a strater who scored 16 goals

sorry, no offense to the Spaniards this Coach is getting old and lost his sense.

Who in the Hell would pick Fabregs in his lowest season ever! I don't watch the Preimer League much (I read a lot about the daily news of the league ) I didn't hear about Fabregs to the extent that I thought he is injuries for the whole season.

Spain will not go further, I hope two or three players get injured before the fist game so he can call those who really deserve ( Fabrges, Vaquez and Bartra )

I agree with everything you said. Not sure about Mata, though if they played him in the middle, he might do well. Del Bosque is one of the few Madridistas that I have respect for, but he really screwed the pooch with his choices here.

Also amazed he didn't pick Fernando Torres, not because of how he played, but because I figured he would be picked until his legs fell off.

The thing is, that Del Bosque never learns... He made the same mistakes 2 years ago, when he picked this squad as he did. Poor old man should really retire already. He has my symphaty as a person but he is way to old and conservative to be a head coach in modern football.
