Default LIGA: 9 April, 2006 - Villarreal vs Deportivo (pre-match comments)

Interesting encounter, with Villarreal playing Internazionale earlier this week. We have a good record at them in the past seasons and could more or less eleminate them from UEFA Cup qualification if we beat them... Then it would be between Sevilla, Celta and Depor for 2 UEFA Cup spots.

It's an away match. I'm not afraid of our performance.
We have to win.

i am optimistic about that match.Riquelme is an extremely talented player,but they must concentrate on the match VS inter,this is a good chance for depor.we have to win,not only for the possibility to play in Europre,but also fpr all the depor lovers.

We need to win this game for us to have a chance of UEFA qualification. The home games against Celta and Sevilla are just as important as Leon has stated. I would class these games as 6 pointers.

it will be a tough match, and will show were we really are.
i rate us in the same category as Villareal as a B class team (Real and Barca A)
they have been better in the last two seasons, but i would say we are about equal. Should be an interesting match, i would rather see us play good and lose, than play crappy and get a point

I would rather to play bad and win! We can't lose points if we want to play in european cup next season. We can improve out style later. This will be very important match. I believe we can win.

Tough match, if we win here we can really distance ourselves from our direct rivals and get on our way to makin Uefa. Cl is also also still an option, so if we get 3 points and Osasuna stumbles, we'll be looking REALLY good. Let's hope iago can keep his performances up

We play them at the best moment possible... After a lot of hard games, this one might prove to hard for the yellow submarine. That's what I hope of course.

Now let's just hope the curse didn't get reversed. With that I mean that from now on we're unbeatable at home but we always lose away...

Forza Depor

Villareal = Riquelme

Yes, the likes of Gonzalo, Sorin and Forlan are good players but essentialy Villareal are a one man team. When Riquelme isn't in the side they struggle and are a very confused side, with him they can beat anyone in the world but only when he gets loads of the ball. This is a game which we can win especially because Inter will batter them and they will be demoralised after going out of the CL.

3 next three games can are crucial, its imperative that we build on top of the current 2 victories and achieve 3 positive results out of the next 3 encounters. Sevilla and Villarreal matches will be dangerous, however, the match and Celta de Vigo @ a packed Riazor will be easily won..

ForZa Depor!
