Default LIGA: 04.11.2007 Murcia - Deportivo (pre-match comments)

This is the kind of matches that we must win if we want to survive.

Interesting numbers, we have visited Murcia six times, we couldn't score a single goal in five of those games, in the other one we scored four, but we lost

1944-1945 --> MURCIA 1 -- DEPOR 0
1946-1947 --> MURCIA 1 -- DEPOR 0
1950-1951 --> MURCIA 2 -- DEPOR 0
1955-1956 --> MURCIA 5 -- DEPOR 4
1964-1965 --> MURCIA 2 -- DEPOR 0
2003-2004 --> MURCIA 0 -- DEPOR 0

I think.....well it dosen't really matter what I think. What I know is, that we are going to win. There is alot to do to imrove, but thats nor here or there. We sould never lose faith. I don't come here to pretend to know alot. But one thing is for sure, I come here to see our team kickass. No matter what, I come here to see us win. I never come here with defeatism. I know in my mind that we are going to win as a team.
Man that was deep....hahaha But it's true.

Again, let's not simply expect or demand a win beforehand.

Murcia are three points above us and get most of their points at home.

Away they didn't score a single goal in three matches but scored four goals at 9-men Valladolid (1-4).

In Murcia there have been two wins and two draws and one defeat.

One thing seems assured: because there have been just seven goals in five matches, the team scoring first this Sunday will probably be assured of at least a point. In the past three home matches there have been just two goals in their stadium: one of Murcia (1-0 against Recre) and one of Almeria (0-1).

This game with Murcia is going to be a good game for us. One things for sure, you know your shit. I'll take the point but three is a lot better hahaha!

This is one of the "key" games. A must win, nothing else is acceptable IMO.

I expect at least 7 points in the next 4 games.

We must win this one! If we won't to survive and not be scared until last minute of the last game of the season - we must win! No other way! Lotina - use your head - play with two forwards - Bodipo & Xisco / Xisco & Riki / Riki & Bodipo...or maybe time for Adrian? He called him white Ronaldo, so why Ronaldo isn't playing?

Hell yeah, I agree, wanna see Adrian play. He's fast and dangerous, and if he play along with a strong striker, like Xisco or Taborda, I'm sure we'll be dangerous. Not necessarily from the start of the game, but later on, it could be nice to see, how the team will perform.

Have you seen one of the matches we played 4-4-2 and compared it to how we play with the 4-2-3-1 now? It's pretty clear that you cannot play 4-4-2 with this team, the midfield is just too weak for that. And without a player like Verdú in front of two defensive midfielders the ball will never even reach our strikers.
Except for the finishing things are working quite well right now so why would Lotina change his tactics? And Adrián can't play alone upfront, at least not until now.

We must win against these teams (Murcia/Valladolid etc) to stay in the league. There is nothing much to say about this game.
