That is true.
We should buy younger talents as ruben and momo are who we can get cheap -and wait.
Poor got to be patient. They will come up just fine and after few years we will have a brilliant team again.

Maybe Depor has reduced more of this debt.... it has to..... After playing a CL semifinal, and finishing in top 3 in Spain, we only got 24 million?

I'm sure most of this is medium or long term, but Maybe now people will understand why we cannot buy players.

that is a hell of alot of cash... any idea what caused it???

* buying players like Luque, Sergio, Toro Acuña and Andrade
* the project of building the city of Abegondo
* improves to Riazor

It supposed that the debt will be paid in the next 6-8 years and that means a reduction of 20-25M in each year.

The funny thing is that they actually have a surplus of €278,000 for past financial year!!!
SO Depor owe €154 million but made €278,000 last year

I read a post from the spain soccer website a couple of months back which said that Depor was the best run club in Spain by a long way.

The wages aren't that big and although we've spent big on Tristan, Luque and Sergio the transfers of Makaay to Bayern, Flavio to RM and Rivaldo to Barca have brought in around £46 million.

The revenue from gate receipts must be a problem as the Riazor is often half empty and is very rarely full.

It means that if we just consider last year's operations, Depor has a surplus of 278,000. The 154 million represents the loss accumulated from previous years ...

Maybe we should sell our training grounds to the government for 300% greater than it's estimation than the government return the property in return for charging people to watch our training.

It served another club well when they were bankrupt
