Depor has to play with Real Sociedad on October 1st. On that day the Jewish people commemorates the Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement. Supodsuly nobody can do anything on that day, but Aouate said to AS that he will play, now a political party wants to exclude him from Israel's national team for this reason... perfect what we were needing

What if Sundays game is played in the afternoon, is that ok? Yom Kippur doesn't start until sundown.

Dudu is to good for the national team anyway so...

I remember the Argentine Goalkeeper Roa (Mallorca) who was highly rated. He did not play any game on saturday only on sundays and that was the main reason why he did not transfered to Manchester United.
There where some kind of religious explanation for it but I dont remember which one...

I think the israeli football federation and this political party should respect the fact that dudu plays his football in a country that isn't governed by jewish law! Its crazy that a political party is even getting involved in the selection of players for the israeli national team!
