Default UEFA Cup (2006/2007)

So, the first games will be known this afternoon. And Waregem isn't lucky They have to play against one of these 5 teams: Schalke 04, Sparta Praha, Locomotiv Moscow, Blackburn Rovers, or... Fenerbahce I'm hoping for Schalke, it isn't that far and you don't have to cross a sea Of course you know it's over before the games begin. Fenerbahce would be the dream-team of course, again with certain elimination though I wouldn't like Sparta and Locomotiv, we also don't stand a chance and it isn't actually a really cool team to play against I have no idea about Blackburn's strenght though.
Club Brugge has to play against Tottenham or four weaker teams, that ain't fair Standard could play Celta.

Last year's UEFA Cup champs Sevilla annihilated Barcelona 3-0 this morning in the UEFA Super Cup. The goals came in the 7th minute from Renato, Kanoute on the stroke of half-time and a last minute penalty from Maresca.

My $10 bet on Sevilla at $81 to win La Liga may well just pay off.

I saw a great part of this match and Barca didn't do any harm to Sevilla's defence except a couple of times where Palop saved the situation.
It was a deserved win and Maresca's opoortunity in the last minute was the best play of the match IMO. He passed through the whole defence by himself but his weak shot (on purpose) was deflected at last

Well, this was actually the first time the UEFA Cup winner has won the Super Cup since 2001.

Also, Sevilla's Daniel Alves got named 2005/06 UEFA Cup MVP.
