Newcastle is tough but not unbeatable... Few years ago, Partizan Belgrade kicked them out in Champions League qualifications...
I think Depor will even win... maybe 1-2

Who spit these numbers out? Normally you can see slightly different numbers for the same match depending on the source, so I just like to know from whom are these numbers?

Anyway I like our tackles success rate....

My impressions from Newcastle- Deportivo. Again another victory with the pistachio kit. We couldn't keep the goal on "0" but we could turn the score in our favor, like in the first leg. We loose a loose a lot of opportunities but finally compromised player do the striker busness.

Depor played a very good game yesterday in Sant James' Park. I saw change of mind of the Caparros team. We had to keep our goal safe of score, and the team decided to play offensive.

There was a lot of pressure in the pitch and some players reacted well, they showed that Depor has young players but some of them are veterans. The quality and personal motivation of some players was determinant: Andrade and Munitis scored, not cos they had numerous occasion, they scored becouse they went for it to die!

Others like Rubén, Luque, Valerón and Tristán were not at the same level and it starts to be hard to understand. Juanma made his debut and he couldn't keep his ass quiet and he deserved that yellow card: My impression, he is rude defender and he will get some more cards during the season. But anyway, his role yesterday was to stop Newcastle's attacks.Manuel Pablo was slow and lost his possition more than five times (do we really need to sell Hector?)
