I didn't mention it 'cause I thought it was a expected result.

The only yesterday's game was Lokomotiv Moscow vs. Brondby in group B.

During last some months Loko looks pathetic. The club loses all important matches.

This game started in the expected way. After 1st 30 minutes Loko was down by 2 goals. The sutiation continued till 60th minute when Russian blew up the stadium by scoring 3 goals for 4 minutes. Later Loko's captain Dmitry Loskov set the final score with his 3rd goal. 4-2.

That was a great round of the Cup for Russian clubs! All 3 won their matches.

Lokomotiv Moscow - Brondby 4:2 (3 goals by Dmitry Loskov)

Zenit St.Petersburg - Sevilla 2:1 (2 goals by Alexander Kerzhakov)

CSKA Moscow - Levski 2:1 (2 goals by Vagner Love)

Ukrainian Shakhtar disgraced themselves in Donetsk missing the only goal on the last minute... 0:1 loss against Rapid Bucuresti.

Yesterday Lokomotiv Moscow crashed Maccabi Petah-Tikva in Israel 4-0. That was an impressive game by Loko. A fabulous free kick by Dmitry Loskov in the 1st half and 3 consecutive goals for 5 minutes in the second half (Igor Lebedenko - 2 and Francesco Riopolo)...

This win led Loko to the next stage.

Yesterday two more Russian clubs played their last macthes of the season.

Zenit St. Petersburg drew with Besiktas in Turkey. 1-1. So Zenit got promotion to the next round.

The title holder CSKA Moscow sensationally lost in Bucharest against Dinamo 0-1. So there is 99% probability of failure for the Moscow team.
