We win all the games in April and goal difference becomes positive. And we even get 5 straight win. It seems unbelieveable before Jan 08. But we have done it. Too great!!!

Its a good day to be a Depor fan. 5 straight wins, 12 goals in 5 matches, mathematically secure from the drop, and a European spot for next season a strong possibility!
I think the moral of today's story was clear: The team that wins is the team that wants it the most. Barça obviously has given up all hope on their Primera campaign. Aside from maybe Sylvinho and Yaya, the rest of the squad looked like a bunch of hung-over Sunday leaguers who showed up to play out of compulsion rather than competition.
Now I don't want to take anything away from our players, I feel they played a role polar opposite to our visitors. We performed like men possessed with the will and passion of a freight train hell bent on crushing anything that stood in our path; which is precisely want we did to our opponent. The final score was hardly a thrashing but it could have easily, and very deservingly, been much more. Up 2-0 with 15 minutes to play Depor attacked like it was 0-2, every player giving 110%. What pumps me up the most is seeing forwards playing defense and defenders attacking AND scoring goals. Lotina clearly has our boys motivated and hungry to keep fighting. As much as I bitched a moaned about him taking over the club, there is no doubt now that he must be considered manager of the year.
Yes. . . Its good to be a Blanquiazul!!

Haha nice one Michal!

Fantastic game, i really hope it will be available for download! In my opinion one of the best games depor has made since the season 03/04! If Xisco and Cristian would have capitalized their opportunities it would have been one of the best games in depors history. All players did a fantastic job, 5/5 to everyone for the fighting spirit and will to win! A huge eloge to Lotina who after a disastrous first round of la liga has turned the team around and proven its full potential! I did not for one second think this would be possible in january!

Lets continue this streak of good football and even better results the last games of the season!

VAMOS DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA!!!

wow...Depor are beating Barca. What a fantastic game and both goal are superb and the funny thing is Marquez pushing Pablo Amo into the perfect spot to head that ball. Just curious, can Lafita play next weekend??

I waited all afternoon to watch this game. Wasn't replayed until 3pm this afternoon and DAMN it was well worth the wait. Brilliant performance from the club. Beautiful and skillful play, combine this with a tough, solid and an athletic defense!

I'm...

Lafita can't play against Zaragoza anyway because he is on loan from them and its part of the agreement. That's why he also picked up a silly booking, so that he'll be suspended for a game he can't play anyway.
Now he'll go back to 0 yellow cards and will be able to play the rest of the season, free from suspension.(unless he gets sent off)

yea it was really funny! He pushed amo into the perfect spot and then started appealing for offside. The commentator on espn descrbed it as "Criminal Defending!!!"

I watched some of the replay of the match last night, and that first goal was 10 consecutive passes that started with De Guzman just behind the midfield line, and went through about five other players. Pretty impressive...
