Default La Liga 31-10-2007 Deportivo 1v1 Mallorca (Post Match Comments)

Before the game, I was thinking that a draw at home to in form Mallorca wouldn't be too bad a result although obviously we could have done with the win. However, I have to be a little dissapointed as they were down to 10 men in the first half as they lost their goalkeeper to a red card.

Good to see Guardado get another goal and put the missed chances and penalty against Real behind him but yet again, it seemed like a story of us playing well but not taking our chances. When you see how many shots we had at goal, it's unbelievable that we could only score from the penalty spot.

2 goals dissallowed for us too but on the other side, we were apparently lucky that Mallorca were not awarded a clear penalty when Colo fouled Guiza.

I'm very disappointed. It was a bad idea to put Taborda in. From that point the team didn't try to unlock the defence with through passes and just tried centers that weren't practiced at trainings.

This game emphasized what we have already seen so far. The team is able to perform well, but we have scoring problems and we couldn't get results.

I don't afraid of relegation, there are far worse teams in la liga, but if we don't improve our efficiency this will be another mediocre season ending in the second part of the table...

We have to start getting some points, cause this is getting ridiculous. How hard can it be to score at least ONE OF ALL THOSE FRIGGIN CHANCES????? God this pisses me off. We played well my ass. If you're up against ten men more than an entire half, you simply have to take the three points. If we don't get the points in Murcia this weekend I'll stick my foot up Riki's ass.

Another big disappointment for me.

Exactly my thoughts. I wouldn't even have been too disappointed with a loss, but really, being 11 against 10, with their 1st goalie sent off, in the whole 2nd half... It sucks that we can't score.

But, it is with the upcoming opponents, Murcia, (Santander), Bilbao and Osasuna - that we must win IMO.

Vamos Depor!

For me too. I'm even much more disappointed today than last Sunday after 1:3 against RM.
