Default La Liga 2007-2008 season. Your Best fantasy team.

I was just thinking about the best team you could make from all those that played in La Liga this year. I thought it would be fun to do a forum vote in an organised manner to establish the RCDLC.COM "La Liga Team of the Year"

What I intend to do is post a shortlist of players for each position and allow 3 days of voting for each position. By the time EURO 2008 starts we should be very near to our team.

As each position has been filled, I will merge the thread with this one and start the next position.

Before we start picking the players however, let's choose a formation. Let's remember that we're picking what we think are the best players for each position and not our favorite players. We're all Depor fans but it would look stupid and totally unrealistic if a La Liga team consisted of mostly Depor Players.

Due to the fact that I can not merge threads where there is more than 1 poll, I shall be posting the votes of each Poll here.

LOL!! You were too quick.

I just added the poll, which will close in 3 days. Then we will pick our goalkeeper.

I vote for 4-2-3-1

___________GK___________
__RB____CB____CB____LB__
_______DM_____DM_______
___RW_____AM______LW___
__________ST____________

You can take it as offensive, or defensive. Doesn't matter.

EDIT: Didn't realize there was a poll. Oh well.

I agree with Blanquiazul's formation. But I didn't really watch too much Depor this season.

It's not about Depor only. It's the whole league.

Default La Liga Team of the Year 2007-2008

Whatever the formation, we can now vote for the best Goalkeeper in La Liga over this season.

Remember that you're voting for the person who you think has performed the best over the season and not your favorite.

I'll add this thread to the main thread once voting has finished.

Sorry to be a pain, Rik...
But I want to vote for Almeria's Diego Alves. Why don't we just put every starting goalkeeper in Primera?

He didn't fulfill the criteria

I only picked keepers that had half decent records AND had played a minimum of 25 league games. Alves only played 20
