Sergio - Duscher duo are good so far, so Valeron should warm the bench for now untill he'll get adapted to new formation. But it's sad to see such player who has been squad's leader for the last few years out of form. I think his physical condition needs to be improved as well.

although he is having a rotten time at the moment i think the new system will suit him. the old system never gave him a lot of support and thats why it was easy to take him out of the game.
I think now there will be more players protecting him.

I think Valeron will not become a starter under Caparros, at least not this season. But he could be used against teams that have a weak midfield. Unless he plays against very strong players, he can still work his magic and Capa will probably use him when he has the opportunity. Also Valeron is good playing behind one striker, he has experience in this style.

i cant see him as a regular starter but cappa shuffles his system freq. so if he is fit and motivated, he is definitely gonna be a vital part in this season....

Well, Sergio-Duscher is fine, but it lacks a bit of creativity, the passing that Valeron have. Valerón should never leave...

I think he can benefit this season because he wont have to play so many games.
A fresh Valeron can be very dangerous, and he should have a more free role, with a strong midfield behind him.
As long as we have options as a team.. I am happy!

Sorry, but if we have to sacrifice Valeron for the sake of the team, so be it.

I agree, Valeron is a one dimensional player. He's a playmaker and he doesn't know how to play defense. There's only one spot for him (as an attacking mid) and there's not much he can do here. Im sure he will adapt to one of these spots even though it might take a few months.

Valeron, as said Irrureta, could be a beast in the feald if only he has some will. His skills are very great in dribbling. And he shows it in big matches like the ones against Real Madrid. And I think that hs case is a little like zidane, he has lost some speed but he can do very good near wing players or strikers so I guess that even if he would be in the bench , he is definetely a valuable weapon!!!

I totally agree with you as well as Irrureta.

Valeron needs some time to adapte himself in the new system, but after that period, he will be doing fine, and that makes a great player.

I guess one day, when Valeron decides to quit professional football, we will regard him as another legend of Depor, just like what we see Fran today.

Nope, Valeron doesn't even come close to the likes of Mauro, Fran and Bebeto..............as for now.

It's not a question of being better than other players but doing his best and as a personnal opinion : I prefer him to Fran

I think it's Irrureta mistake, because he tried to build his team around Valeron. Valeron was much more effective when he wasn't given such an important role.
