Even though Racing is in a great form they are still far from as good as Real Madrid, Barca, Villarreal etc IMO. It was like Espanyol who was doing excellent in the start of the season, but they were not good enough to hold on up there. I think Racing will end up the same way. It's just a matter of them getting a few injuries and a few losses before they'll get back where they belong. They are in a good form, but I don't fear them. In their last 6 matches where they won 5, they faced these rivals Almeria, Valladolid, Real Betis, Getafe, Recreativo and Espanyol. Not exactly frightening teams. I truly believe we have a great chance at this one.

if we play like in our better matches, sure we can or will win this. But it could go to individual details what can make the difference.

Your right Leon there should be a bit of support this year, unfortunatly I suspect not as much as year.

Santander with support is a great place to be. Going to the bars the night before in colours is a must if you are with other fans and the atmosphere is fantastic. But not for my phone For some reason I break them on this trip

A point this year will be good, but I hope we turn up with the mentality of wanting the win.

Keep a eye on a future post of this trip. There should be a report from Miles and I in the coming weeks. Win , Loose or Draw .

Have you got your snoring sorted out Miles or does Martin wear ear defenders to bed?

I do not think he is worried about that. He told me I have a pillow fetish

Seriously, Santander is a cracking place to go to watch the team.

Santander won 0-3 at Espanyol, but actually Espanyol deserved at least a draw. It's just that Racing scored at 100%: three chances, three goals. Depor is sometimes really silly in defense, so if they are as efficient as they were last week, then it's gonna be a tough game, especially as we know they have the best defense in La Liga. Perhaps this is gonna be one of those games in which the team that scores first wins.

I was just about to say the same. I saw the highlights from that game and Espanol didn't look great at all. Racing looked the better side and deserved their win IMO. Great goal by Bolado.

I have the feeling that Santander will have difficulties with our system.
Ofcourse they have a good team and very strong season, but if we can beat R.Madrid and Sevilla why should we be afraid of Racing (with all respect ofcourse)?

I predict a draw and if Xisco can hold his pichichi form maybe a win

if we can stay solid at the back i think we can win this match.. their passing is pretty gud and we need de guzman to really to interfere maximum passes (like he does mostly).. Lafita showed some very useful tricks on the wings last day and he needs to do the same in this match too..
