I would very much like to see Valeron as the assistant to the new coach.

"According to Radio Cadena SER, the three candidates to Depor's bench are Gaizka Garitano, Luis César Sampedro and an unamed ex-Depor player."

When I look at these names I'm pretty sure that we will have a hard and long battle to stay at Primera next season.

stupidity is the Topic of the board this season !

you either bring Jemenz and give him the money he wants

or

bring Sergio because from the way I see it even Insua was defending victor and was shocked of his sack so bringing another ex-depor will calm things.

otherwise we will suffer and we will see players leaving

As I read the latest article Sergio and Djukic are available. It would be great to hire one of them.
I checked Garitano and Sampedro and I didn't impressed by them. Unfortunatelly I think the cheapest one from the candidates will be the new coach, the board seems skimpy.

I am worried reading these names! Sergio would be ok but he also doesn't have a lot of experience. Firing Victor was a huge mistake!

The pre-season won't start until mid-july I think, so we should take our time in picking a good coach, not pick anybody because we are desperate to have someone by June 15!!

Sergio is no wonder-coach but he could perhaps keep us in Primera.
I much more like the option of Djukic, but don't believe we could get him.

And what can Djukic do?

All names are crappy the least name is Sergio

Either bring Sergio or pay more money and get a good coach

If that Ex-Depor player they are talking about is Marchena I honestly wouldn't mind it. He has experience on the international level like no other.

It's more a case of bringing in the least evil. More a gamble than anything else.

depressing. Tito must know the consequences of not playing in Primera next year; it will hit harder than ever before now with the new tv rights.
It's not normal to save on that position and in the main time keep paying for people like Manu P who - except from some nostalgy - brings nothing on the field anymore.
I said it long before, but that new Presidiency knows little about football. Lendoiro was many times more capable, despote or no despote.
The only thing Tito does is save - which is necessairy, but must be done wisely!

To sack one of our own - Victor, to bring in Garitano who lasted 4 months at Valladolid is pretty deflating!
Even experienced managers like Van Gaal and Mourinho have fallen out with their own players, so I feel Victor was harshly treated.
Some will say this is a results based business, but he kept us up for the last 2 seasons, he is a young manager learning his trade and he would have had 5m euros more to spend on his team this year.
I will obviously back the next manager, but at this moment in time, am not feeling enthusiastic.

Totally agree with you,
