Default LIGA: 19.05.07 Deportivo - Sevilla (pre-match comments)

The last visits of Sevilla:

1991-1992 ---> DEPOR 3 -- SEVILLA 1
1992-1993 ---> DEPOR 2 -- SEVILLA 0
1993-1994 ---> DEPOR 2 -- SEVILLA 0
1994-1995 ---> DEPOR 5 -- SEVILLA 1
1995-1996 ---> DEPOR 3 -- SEVILLA 2
1996-1997 ---> DEPOR 3 -- SEVILLA 0
1999-2000 ---> DEPOR 5 -- SEVILLA 2
2001-2002 ---> DEPOR 1 -- SEVILLA 0
2002-2003 ---> DEPOR 3 -- SEVILLA 1
2003-2004 ---> DEPOR 1 -- SEVILLA 0
2004-2005 ---> DEPOR 2 -- SEVILLA 2
2005-2006 ---> DEPOR 0 -- SEVILLA 0

Remember that Sevilla hasn't won in La Coruña for la liga since 35 years ago

But remeber also that they have beaten us in three occasions on this season: 0-4, 0-3 and 0-2. Do this mean that we will lose 0-1 this time?

Unfortunately, this statistic gives me little comfort. They easily dismantled us the first leg of the semis, there’s no reason why they can’t do the same next weekend. My only hope rests on the fact that they have a midweek cup final and our boys maybe seeking a little revenge for the humiliation suffered in the copa.

The team really owe it to us, lets get these 3 points and spoil their Liga chances just like they did our Uefa

The friendship between the supporters of Sevilla and Deportivo goes way back. For example, in 2000 their crowd wasn't very unhappy when Depor won 1-3 at their stadium; a match which I still consider one of the most vital ones in the second part of that championship-winning season.

Depors bogey team number one this season. We dont coop with their strenghts. Cant see why we are gonna do better this time.

Perhaps if Crapa play with the 11 best?

I always thought that too but earlier this season when they thrashed us 4-0 in their stadium, there was a lot of fans chanting that bloody "Oe Segunda" song. I could understand them being happy at their own teams success but was a bit dissapointed that a club that are supposed to be very friendly with us were taking great delight in taunting us with that song. I was rooting for them to win the league up until then but lost a lot of respect for them after that.

Let's hope we dent their title charge next week.

so you'd prefer valencia or real madrid or barcelona to win? :/ valencia or real=oh no, absolutely not, dislike both of those teams. Barca won 2 years in a row so that would be a bit sad tbh, i'd rather see sevilla win.

Well I'd rather the top 4 were all found to have bribed refs and were all relegated but that isn't going to happen

What I was saying, was that out of the 4, I wanted Sevilla to win but after that liga game in the Sanchez Pijuan, I now no longer have a preference.

The riazor blues sit with the equivalent version of the Sevilla fans and vice versa so the relationship between both sets of supporters is good.

Let Sevilla win, so they still have a chance to get the title.
