MATCHDAY 04: PERFECT MARK FOR BARCA

FC Barcelona is the only team with a perfect mark, while Alavés have neither added nor scored and already sacked the coach.

It was an entertaining matchday as five of the ten games changed the sign of the result with a goal scored within the last thirty minutes. There was also a late penalty that was missed and that also had a huge impact in the result.

Only four clubs remain undefeated in liga: FC Barcelona, Sevilla CF, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. The Catalans faced problems visiting Getafe CF (1-2) and lost Dembelé for a long spell (3 months out), but at least added their fourth win on the season to keep a perfect mark and the leadership. The winning goal by Paulinho came at minute 84.

Sevilla CF also suffered visiting FC Girona (0-1) with Alex Granell missing a late penalty for the locals. Muriel scored at minute 69 and the penalty was missed at the last minute. The Andalusians have added three wins and one draw and are the runners-up.

Real Madrid clinched a huge win visiting Real Sociedad (1-3), while Atlético inaugurated their new stadium with Griezmann scoring the winning goal before Málaga CF (1-0). Again, the last stretch was crucial as the goal was scored at minute 61.

Athletic Club lost their first game on the season, they were defeated by UD Las Palmas thanks to a late goal by Loic Remy (1-0). He scored at miute 87. Villarreal CF returned to winning ways and trashed Deportivo Alavés on the road (0-3).

SD Eibar opened the matchday with a 1-0 victory hosting CD Leganés, while Levante UD and Valencia CF drew in the Valencian derby (1-1). The latter was the only game on this matchday that didn’t have goals in the second part.

Deportivo lost visiting Real Betis with the winning goal scored at minute 76 (2-1), the Galicians are now in relegation as RCD Espanyol clinched their first win on the season hosting RC Celta (2-1). Málaga CF and Alavés are the only teams without points, the Basques are even scoreless and it moved their officials to sack coach Zubeldia.

MATCHDAY 05: FIRST MIDWEEK MATCHDAY
Busy week in la liga with twenty games between Tuesday and next Monday. Leaders FC Barcelona are hosting SD Eibar. There’s an entertaining game with Athletic Club hosting Atlético Madrid, while Real Madrid host Real Betis. Deportivo host Alavés in a meeting with a lot of pressure for both sides.

The matchday is completed with other six meetings: Valencia CF Vs. Málaga CF; CD Leganés Vs. Girona FC; Sevilla CF Vs. UD Las Palmas; Villarreal CF Vs. RCD Espanyol; RC Celta Vs. Getafe CF & Levante UD Vs. Real Sociedad.
