Important game for Deportivo due to the situation at the standings, and Parralo will face it without Cartabia. Bakkali will be available.

Complicate situation for Deportivo, the defeat at Sevilla CF, plus the good results of the three teams at the bottom, are now allowing the possibility that the Galician side could end the matchday in relegation. And taking in mind the tough calendar until the end of the first round, the home meeting with CD Leganés turns to be very important (Saturday, Riazor, 18h30 CET).

The bad news for coach Cristóbal Parralo is that his best man so far, Fede Cartabia, is suspended with five yellow cards. Meanwhile, other two men are out injured: Luisinho (hamstring) and Bruno Gama (muscle). A fourth man that will surely miss the game is Alejandro Arribas, who is waiting to complete his exit to Mexican club Pumas.

The good news is that winger Zakaria Bakkali is returning from a I/II muscle injury in the gastrocnemius muscle of his right leg, it was expected that the Belgian was going to return in the last week of the month, but he joined the trainings on Monday and will be available.

Parralo seems to be thinking in switching the draw into a 4-2-3-1, for it Carles Gil is set to be the replacement of Cartabia on the right wing, while Emre Çolak has been tested as the playmaker.

The rival for the meeting is surprising CD Leganés, the Madrilenians are only one point away from the European zone despite losing four of the last five liga meetings. Coach Asier Garitano has a solid block and is only missing three players for the game at the Riazor.

Midfielder Darko Brašanac and centre-back Dimitrios Siovas are both out due to a stress fracture problem, while left winger Omar Ramos is out until 2018 after suffering several muscle injuries is this start of season.  Attacker Nordin Amrabat is expected to be fully fit for the game, the Moroccan was having issues on last week and could only be a replacement against Villarreal CF (3-1 win).
