Cristóbal Parralo has been sacked after only four months at the first team. He only won two of twelve games and leaves the team in relegation.

Deportivo announced early on Sunday that Cristóbal Parralo is no longer the coach of Deportivo’s first team. His assistants are also leaving, including ex-Depor player Javier Manjarín, who was the second in command. The rumour is that the club offered Parralo the chance to continue working at the club, but he chose to leave.

Parralo landed at Deportivo for the past season, He arrived in order to take command of Fabril at Tercera División. After a slow start, the team improved and clinched the first spot at the end of the season, and later conquered the promotion to Segunda B in the first attempt. For the current season the good job continued and Fabril reached the first place at Segunda B early on the campaign.

Later the bad results arrived at or the first team and Pepe Mel was sacked on October 24. That same day the Andalusian coach was promoted to the first team. Just a couple of days later the team was trashed in Copa Del Rey before UD Las Palmas (1-4).

The true is that the hand of Parralo was never noticed in the first team, his team continued committing the same mistakes and only won 2 of the 12 official games with him on the bench. This is the sixth coach that leaves by the back door during the four years that Tino Fernández has been the president. The new coach will be announced on Monday and it seems it will be Clarence Seedorf.
