La Liga is a race of two now as Valencia CF is losing form. Deportivo complicated its chances to survive at Primera after a big loss.

Valencia CF suffered its third straight defeat and it was it against Atlético Madrid at El Metropolitano (1-0), la liga is a race for two as FC Barcelona barely got a point visiting RCD Espanyol (1-1). The battle to avoid demotion remains complicated for Deportivo, the Galicians were trashed at Real Sociedad (5-0), it cost the job to Cristóbal Parralo. Los Blanquiazules are three points away from safety and are now tied in points with UD Las Palmas, side that defeated Málaga CF (1-0). The Andalusians have only added 13 points and no one have stayed at Primera after making that number in 22 matchdays.
