Nobody was happy with the performance of the team, but the qualification to quarterfinals have granted confidence to Caparr??s and the players. Meanwhile, President Lendoiro said that the exit of Coloccini is stopped, while he also said that the problem with Alav?Šs and the transfer of Bodipo is a thing that should not be worrying Depor's fans.

Coach Joaqu?n Caparr??s wasn't happy with the performance of his squad, but he was at least content with the qualification: "We are in quarterfinals, others can't say the same. The first half was really bad. We were too closed, the squad wasn't opening the spaces, and we were obstructing the lines in which the ball should be passing. We improved our performance during the second half, and that's why our goal arrived."

The Andalucian coach said that he doesn't have any predilection about the rival that he want to face in quarterfinals, Caparr??s just said that he doesn't want to face Sevilla: "I don't want to play with them, because it's the most complicated rival that we could face in the Spanish football."

The positive thing of the game was the debut of Iv??n P?Šrez with the first squad, the Fabril's youngster was satisfied with his performance: "It was fine. They told me that I should play as I do it with Fabril, and the coach in Fabril always tell me that I should do it easy, because the difficult things are the mission of others. I just tried to create some danger and to play without nerves."

Defender Antonio Barrag??n was satisfied with the qualification, and also with the performance of his team mates: "We suffered during the first half, but I am really happy with the qualification. These matches are good since we are able to find some rhythm, and to demonstrate to the coach that he can count on us. I don't care who will face us in quarterfinals, we just have to do our best effort in order to reach the semifinals."

Meanwhile, president Augusto C?Šsar Lendoiro wanted to explain the poor attendance to Riazor: "The fans face these rounds in copa del rey in a different way. In a financial view, this competition is only worthy if you reach the final or if you face a club like Real Madrid or Barcelona." Lendoiro also said that the exit of Coloccini is 'stopped', while he asked for serenity when he talked about the problem with Alav?Šs and the transfer of Bodipo: "There isn't a problem, nobody should be worried."

The coach of Mallorca, Gregorio Manzano, said that the play of the penalty was the one that defined the tie: "It was determinant, a very important play in this eliminatory. The penalty changed the score and the 25 minutes that were remaining in the clock."

Defender Ballesteros, the one that caused the penalty over Riki, gave his opinion about that play: "I believe that the striker -Riki- was really smart. There was a contact, I can't deny that, but I didn't deserve to be booked. We have to protest the red card, because it's unfair. If we can have justice inside the pitch, we should look for it outside the field. We lost the eliminatory, but at least we gave a good image."
